Hello Ravv! Welcome to LoRA! About your request... I believe tSoMtW (the admin account) put it well when he said this earlier in this thread. I would like to see more generic creatures as well. As we have a new plot up, we could use some generic creatures that play important roles! Our horde leader Ocutrum needs some Captains ( Click here!), our Mossguard is gaining members ( Click Here!), and generally Redwall itself could use some creatures to defend it. But truthfully, if you have your heart set on having a Hybrid, PM me your idea and I'll take a look at it. (Posted while still a staff member of this site) |

Quick question! For Prank I s'pose.
Could I have like (super-special) permission to create an American Mink? They exist in Great Britain and have for a while. They were at one time brought over to Britain from America and have been there since. I know... lame argument to get what I want. ^^ I also understand that they never appeared in any of the books?... That's why mine would be special. xD I totally understand if you can't allow this. I just thought I might ask somebody more knowledgeable.

Elizabeth= An American Mink sounds fun and looks really cute( ), however, for the same reasons you gave me, Iam going to say no. There are not a native species England, and they are not mentioned in the book. Sorry Elizabeth.  @ Onyx= Right now, while we are in the middle of a large plot I do not think another fairly powerful species is what we need right now. Also we do want to keep the rare species count down on the site. So, for now, I am going to say no. Possibly later in the plot, possibly when we have more actual conflict between our two groups. Hello, there! Newbie here!
I have a question about a character I'd like to create. He is a harvest mouse/rat mixed breed. Would that be a special permission type of character? If so, I know I'm new, so I'd understand if you don't think I should be privileged with a special permission character. Not to mention I've not posted in a thread thus far. (Waiting on first character approval.)

Just because you are new doesn't mean you are less privileged (or not in my view). I however don't really prefer many cross-breeding. Closer breeds are all right. like: sea and river otter, harvest and field mouse, that sort of thing. Rat and mouse seem a bit too far a part to me. Stoat and ferret...Egh, closer, but a rat and a mouse is more like a shrew and a watervole to me...
I'm going to say if you can avoid it for now that would be great. And I'll get to looking at that profile for you.

Thank you, Prank! I understand how that cross would be pretty distant. I can just make him a mouse. That harvest/field mouse idea is good, though. I wanted to make him a crossbreed because it's part of his history. But I can change it. It's not a huge deal. I just had to ask.

^^ I just wanted to say that maybe you should add a Gannet to the bad/neutral list? It was in "High Rhulain", and considering it attacked aggressively, and it tried to eat some dibbuns, I thought it was worth mentioning.
xD sorry, I thought of another one.
What about a typical feral cat? Under the Bad/neutral list, maybe.
Lady Kaltag was a feral cat, and her husband Riggu Felis claimed to be the only one in his family that was a true wildcat.

I have another question. Does Tracy still come online? It says in the Salamandastron Roster that I have to contact her if I want to make a character with a position higher than a private. I wanted to request that my Hare be a Corporal, and maybe I could make a Badger Lord? I don't know if Ashstripe comes on anymore, but the Salamandastron Roster said the spot was open. o.O...
Got permission yesterday to do so, from Tracy herself. ^^ (for the Corporal and Badger Lord)

Hi, y'all, 'tis Django again. (On my third account. I have too many characters.) I was wondering if it would be alright for me to create a badger character. She would have no special rank or anything, but I know the badgers are limited.
