Edit: Ashstripe has granted my request for a pine marten. I spoke with him via IM.
I am a new and inexperienced member to your lovely board with this being my first post, but I have ambitious plans for an incredibly evil character. No, he is neither a pirate captain nor a warlord. I'd like to think he's much, much worse than any of them or at least he should be once I have finished him.
I do not think I could do him justice if I simply used a common species with such a steady population such as a rat, ferret, stoat, or weasel; no offense to those species or those who choose to play them. It is simply my belief that infamy might be gained for my upcoming character a tad easier and quicker if he was a rarer species of vermin.
At long last we arrive at the true reason for this post. This is a request from the new guy who has yet to earn any form or amount of merit. If you could be generous enough to grant me permission to play a pine marten, I would greatly appreciate it.

Double Post: We've plenty of Pine Martens as of this point. I strongly wish that all applicants refrain from requesting this particular species for the time being.

Hey, admins. May I create a Wolverine character? There aren't any (to my knowledge), and I'll make sure to not make him overpowered.

Umm...Hey I'm new here, and I just wondered if you could have cross-overs? Like a good ferret or an evil otter? (Those are just examples)

I been finishing up BJ's newest book, The Sable Quean and I was thinking about making a Sable! They aren't on the list, so I thought I should ask. Sables are a lot like Pine Martins. They resemble pine martens in size and appearance, but have more elongated heads, longer ears and proportionately shorter tails Their skulls are similar as well, but are larger and more robust with more arched cheek bone. I didn't plan on making it a power hungry creature or invincible. Actually my idea was to make it a blind female who lives in Redwall, not a vermin. If someone could let me know if I can? Thank you. I was wondering if i could have a Colugo? which is basicly just an over sized sugar glider. I can't really see the character i have in mind as anything else really. heres a link. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colugo I'm thinking he could have traveled on a boat looking for adventure or something along those lines.

I'm sorry, we're trying to stick to strictly european species. We'd prefer inventive with a squirrel or something, or think up a different character.

May I have permission to make a wolf? I know they're special and not allowed very often, but I don't think we have many being actively RPed. I s'pose I'd like Ambrr to answer this. ^.^ Since she is an Admin. If you would like me to say anything else about what my charie would be like, I kinda can... I guess. =)
P.S. I don't mind if Wildy or anyone else I consider my superior would answer this question for me.
P.P.S. I s'pose this charie would belong to my "Christe" account.
(If not could I make a WildCat? o:) (Can I have both!? jk, kinda XD) (If I can have neither I don't really mind to awful much... XD Seeing as I have already overrun this place with weird animals.)

There was a heron in Lord Brocktree. Adders and grass snakes are two species of snakes that appear in the books. Cannibal (regular) lizards in Martin the Warrior.

So I guess a Slothunog would be out of the question? xD
Not really asking for/adding any species (at the moment). Just reading up on the site, familiarizing myself. ^_^

It would defiantly be a special permission beast but Horses were mention in RedwallI was also wondering, and I'm fairly sure they are not mentioned in any books, but what about playing Possums. what about chipmunks?
