Swasha Killatalon flew into Warbeak loft, and let out a sigh. It was sad coming into an empty nest. She landed softly and walked over to her nest, but even being surrounded by sparkly objects didn't make her happy.
She looked from the dagger to the monacle, along with the various other objects. She covered her beady black eyes with a brown wing, and let sleep overcome her.
She dreamed of a different time, a time where the lofts were swarming with sparras. She saw her mother, who had died in battle not long before. All she wanted was to have friends.
And who knows... Maybe one day, a mate so she can have an eggchick.

Irontalon was weary. He has been flying all day. He flew to the Sparra loft. "Kreeea! I just want a mate!" Irontalon said. He was lonely. He really wanted a mate, but he wasn't desperate. He was trying to find the perfect mate for him. He started to mumble under his breath. He glanced sideways and saw another sparrow. He hopped over to her. "Hello, my name is Irontalon. What's yours?" He asked. Hm, perhaps this was a sparrow he was looking for.

Swasha was just about to fall asleep, her head under her wing, when the swoosh of wings entered the loft. On the alert, she sprange up.
Swasha killee!
Then she saw that, not a magpie, or crow stood in the loft, but another Sparra!
Um, much sorryum Sparra sir! I be Swasha. Swasha Killatalon. Welcome to umabbey Redwall Irontalon sparra.
She spoke with the rapid, and slightly confusing Sparra tongue, beady black eyes looking over the newcommer. She hoped out from her nest and stretched her wings.

"I Glad to meet you." Irontalon said. "I've been traveling very long... Looking for a mate... I want mate, but Irontalon not desperate. I wait for special Sparrow!" Irontalon said. He sat next to Swasha. "So, whatum story with you Sparra?" He asked. He sat next to her, and wrapped himself in his wings, shielding himself from the cold.

Swasha settled down against the wind, looking at how the monacle she had in her nest swayed on its chord slightly, glinting in the light.
Mother die in umbig wormfight. Big ratworms shootum down. She and other sparra's from nesthome. I um only one left from wormfight.
She started to seath in anger.
If Swasha findum ratworms again, Swasha killee! Killee!
OOC-Tis not too hard, just run some words together, and add um wherever you see fit. Tis quite fun actually.

That whatum happen. Momma never spokeum to me. Being alone, becameum warrior. I had to um hunt worms and comeum home every day to this nothingness. Made Swasha sad, and mad at ratworms. Swasha will be Irontalon, big sparra warrior's um friend.
Swasha let a smile come to her beak, and a sparkle to her eyes. She wasn't alone no longer! No more coming back to the emptiness of the nest!

Irontailon smiled. His eyes sparkled like two sapphires. Perhaps thisum sparra be the special sparra Irontailon waitum for! He thought. "Irontailon glad you-um become his-um friend." Irontail said. No longer shall I be alone! The nest won't be empty when he returns to see if the other Sparra have returned. Irontailon was happy. "Irontailon will be Swashasparra's friend, too." He said.

Swasha looked out at the failing light, and suppresed a yawn.
"Irontailon glad you-um become his-um friend.Irontailon will be Swashasparra's friend, too."
Swasha happy Irontalon beum big sparra warrior friend um too.
She looked at how the day's dieing sun got redder, the sky turning orange, and pink. She hopped over to the entrance of the loft where she could see the sunset better.

Irontailon watched Swasha move to the entrance. "I am coldum. Irontailon gonna go lay in nestum. You may visit myum nest if Swashasparra wantsum." Irontailon said. He hopped over to a nest. He snuggled down and wrapped himself in his wings. "SwashaSparra look sad. Is Swasha sadum?" He asked.

She watched him go to his nest, it was actually not far from her own. She moved towards her own, and pushed it closer to his so she could still have her collection.
"SwashaSparra look sad. Is Swasha sadum?"
Swasha misses um family. Swasha wish could getum ratworms.
Swasha wish she could have um eggchick.
She thought, then yawned and snuggled into her nest.

Maybe this be the Sparra Irontailon look for! Perhaps Irontailon find mate! He thought. He saw Swasha move her nest closer to his, so he hopped out and moved his closer to hers so that they were right next to each other. "Goodnite, SwashaSparra.
Irontailon snuggled down in his nest and buried his beak in his wing. Pretty soon he fell asleep.
OOC: I guess next post will be morning, eh?

Swasha burried her head under her brown wing and fell asleep. Though, no bad dreams plagued her tonight, she wasn't alone anymore.

The sun glinted off of the monacle and dagger, shining in Swasha's eyes. She opened them and yawned, quickly checking beside her to make sure it wasn't a dream that she had made a friend.
Gettum up! Needum to hunt wormfood.
She proded him with a wing tip.

Irontailon was woken by Swasha. "Whyum you wakeum Irontailon?"

Swasha smiled lightly, a twinkle in her eye.
I um sorry Irontalon,big Sparra warrior. Early Sparra catchum worms. Need good wormfood to be plentystrong warrior. Course Swasha come withum! Wanna goum now?
She stretched out the early morning kinks. The sky was blue and the sun out and bright, though the air still held the chill of winter. They'd need to get enough while the worms were plentiful before they dissapeared for a while. So far, they seemed to be doing not to badly.

"Ok, lets go get wroms for SwashaSparra and me-um." He said. He swooped off the roof and flew into Mossflower. "SwashaSparra, follow Irontailon!" he called. He swooped to the floor and started finding worms. He gulped one down when he heard a 'Kreeeaah!' of some sort. He looked up and there were 6 crows. They all went to dive-bomb him and Swasha. "SwashaSparra! Watch out! Crowums attack Sparras!" Irontailon the big Sparra warrior took of in flight and met one in the air. He Clawed and pecked and it fell dead to the floor. He than felt one behind him. It clawed at its back, and Irontailon moved so it just scraped him. "You crow-ums shall feel Sparra claws!" He turned around and started battling with it. Irontailon got pecked, so he latched his tailons into the crow and pecked at it. It fell dead to the floor. A crow was going at Swasha too fast. Irontailon couldn't get there in time, so he shouted. "SwashaSparra! Behind you!"

Swasha flew off into Mossflower with Irontalon, and while pecking at the cold, hard ground, she also heard the caws. She turned, and saw Irontalon attack one, it's dead corpse falling on the ground.
"SwashaSparra! Watch out! Crowums attack Sparras!You crow-ums shall feel Sparra claws!SwashaSparra! Behind you!"
Swasha heard his warning, and was sad to know that she couldn't get in the air before she was set upon. With her sharp beak and talon, Swasha fought back. The crow fell back, and then Swasha took to the air. She dived down on the crow once more, tearing a rending gash in his wing. The crow surprised her and turned with surprising speed, and he cut her leg slightly.
Crowworms! You will notum get away fromus!

"Shoopid Crowworms! You shall feel the wrath of my talonsum!" Said Irontailon. He descended upon another crow. This time the crow got his shoulder area. Irontailon pecked atthe crow. He lodged his beak in it and the crow flapped like a maniac. Irontailon couldn't let loose with all this flapping, so he divebombed. The impact killed the crow immediately. Irontailon was knocked senseless.

As Swasha fought, she felt feathers being torn from her back and wings, and turned quickly to see a savage looking crow. She attacked with her quick beak, not using talons because of her injured leg. She saw Irontalon go senseless, and flew awkwardly to his side, keeping the crows off.

Irontailon barely opened his eyes. He was going to be alright, he was just dizzy. He saw Swasha at his side. "SwashaSparra real friend to Irontailon." He said. He felt really dizzy. He tried to get up. It was painful at first but he completed the task. He shook his head. "How bout SwashaSparra and me get wormfood?" He asked.
