Name: Ike the Assassin
Nickname(s): N/A
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Species: Weasel
Occupation and Home: Warlord, Mossflower
Physical Description: Ike is the perfect specimen of his species, a tall, lithe, and wiry male weasel with a cream chest and tail-tip, and his fur is rusty orange with black streaks here and there coupled with long pink and white scars that have no fur growing on them. His eyes are brilliant blue and almond shaped, and it is said that the more he smiles the more dangerous he gets. And that is why it is suspected that Ike the Assassin is Ferhago the Assassin's long-lost son. He is always holding a long flail with a wooden handle, a short length of chain, and a big, rounded iron ball with thin, dangerous spikes sticking out of it. He wears a long flowing cloak of black fabric, and an eel-skin belt where he stores a long sword of magnificent quality, with a rope handle and a fragment of gem set in the brilliant blade of shining silver-a weapon fit for a king, and a warlord owns it. On his back a leather quiver rests with fifty short arrows with shaped bone arrowheads, and the bones are from enemies he's killed. Tucked in with the quiver a long, curving bow of hickory wood and a twine string are hidden, the string well covered with beeswax. His last weapon is a slim silver dagger, nothing fancy like his sword, with a small stout wooden handle wrapped round with rope. He thinks of it as just a useful tool for murder and torture.
Possessions: Flail- A long flail with a wooden handle on it and a short length of chain attached to a rounded steel ball with long, thin, dangerous spikes protruding out of it.
Sword- Shining silver-bladed sword with a rope handle and a fragment of gem embedded in the blade.
Bow and arrows- Curving hickory bow with a well-waxed twine string and fifty short arrows with bone arrowheads and dusty black feathers.
Dagger- Silver dagger w/rope handle.
Personality: Ike has a deadly temper and an even deadlier sword-paw. He hates everything besides himself and his army, but has a silver tongue and can persuade a creature to do anything he wants, although he is friendly with other warlords. He has a tendency to rip anything in his way into shreds. He can't read or write, and that is part of what makes him so irritable. He usually has to force one of his army or a slave he has captured to read it.
Strengths: N/A
Weaknesses: N/A
History: Ike was taken into Redwall Abbey when he was young, abandoned by his parents, the leaders of a vermin band. He was raised there by a squirrel named Ekorus Galepaw, who tried to teach him the ways of abbey life, but there was no mistaking it to all the other creatures- Ike was a vermin at heart, born vermin, they said, and he’ll die vermin. And there couldn’t have been a truer statement in the whole of the Mossflower Region. But it was when he was fifteen that his vermin origins were revealed to all the inhabitants of Redwall.
Accused of robbing the kitchens, stealing several pots and pans, and attempting to poison a cask full of wine meant for Ekorus, Ike was about to be exiled from Redwall Abbey, but nobeast could guess what happened next. Angered by the decision and ready to leave, Ike murdered Ekorus with his own two paws while the squirrel lay in bed, then fled through the wallgate with a dagger, bow and arrows, and a sword he had stolen from the gatehouse. A search party was sent out to capture him and bring him back to Redwall as a prisoner, but Ike was a vermin at heart. Outwitting the five searchers who had been sent to capture him, he slew all but one, and the weasel was never heard from again.
He met up with a band of weasels, and they were the ones that told him he was decended from Ferhago the Assassin, and then Ike tacked the name ‘Assassin’ onto his title. He recruited all of the weasels to be in his army, and he traveled Mossflower country, gaining allies by forcing them, slaying their leader, or threatening to slay every one of them. It worked, and after about five years, Ike had built himself up a good party of followers, about six hundred. The vermin army raided houses, farms, and orchards, slaying a wide variety of mice, moles, squirrels, and other goodbeasts.
They made several failed attempts to take Redwall Abbey, not even daring to go to Salamandastron lest they be attacked by the Badger Lord while Bloodwrath was full on him, and doing many other crimes around the area. Now the army lurks somewhere in Mossflower, ready to kill anybeast that dares challenge them, with their now-famous leader, the weasel Ike the Assassin.
Relationships: Unknown
Other: Ike leads the Red Wave Army, a fighting force of over eight hundred vermin, stoats, weasels, rats, and foxes.
