Name: Bomboar the Brave
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Species: Badger
Occupation: Warrior
Physical Appearance:
Bomboar looks like a typical badger with brown trousers and a leather jerkin. His eyes are dark, except when he is in Bloodwrath, then they gleam red. He has no scars or other distinguishing features that would set him apart.
Possessions:
He carries a large two-bladed axe that requires badger strength to carry. He wears a pendant with an opal there, which was given him by his mother.
Personality:
Bomboar is an intense individual, solitary and lonely, but if befriended, he would do anything for his friends. He was not always intense. He preferred the peaceful surroundings, the flowers and scenery. He was a peaceful creature until the events happened that changed him. When he makes up his mind on something, nothing can change it. He considers Sunflash the Mace, also known as Sunstripe, as his hero and role model. He wants to be peaceful, but cannot, and it tears him apart at times.
It makes him somewhat of a complex individual, who has not been seen since the days of Sunflash. But the peaceful side sometimes peeks through at unexpected times.
Strengths:
His strengths are the strength of body and his will. When he is in Bloodwrath,(pending approval) none dare stand before him.
Weaknesses:
His Bloodwrath(pending approval) is also his weakness, for when he is in it, he is unaware of his surroundings, and can act rashly, where he would need rescue. He can be stubborn when in pursuit of his goal. That makes him very hard to change in his purpose unless persuaded in a dramatic manner.
He uses no armor, so is vulnerable to attacks by swords or other weapon attacks.
The after-effects of Bloodwrath leaves him drained and weak, requring rest of at least a day to recover from it. He is especially vulnerable then, and needs protection by his companions. It makes him reluctant to go into it.
History:
Bomboar had been living in peace with his parents in Noonvale, until one day six years ago, when he was out foraging for food with his mother,, and came back to find his home destroyed and his father dead and skinned. Then he swore vengeance on the ones who had done this, and roamed far and wide from the place far north of Redwall where he had once lived. He had heard rumors of a vermin lord in the area, and swore vengeance on him, finally leaving his mother, taking the axe with him. He attracted many who had a grievance against vermin, and they together would form a band. He found evidence of Vermillion the weasel and his band, and started searching for him, and it is said that history was repeating itself, similar to what happened with Orlando the Axe when Slagar the Cruel invaded that badger's home. He had heard from vermin he captured about the horde leader, and his tendency to collect parts of those he killed, and he had changed.
He had dreams of the great mountain, and wondered much about it. Also, he hears rumors of a vermin who has changed his ways to be a goodbeast, and is curious about who this can be. It is ironic to know that the two will eventually be best friends.
Relationships:
At the moment, none.
