Physical Appearance:
Roscoe is a large magpie, and resembles a crow - albeit a very flamboyant one. The feathers on his head and breast are a glossy jet black with subtle hues of purple and green metallic when caught in the light. His belly and shoulders are a stark white in comparison, making for a drastic presentation of smooth, impeccable feathers. The most striking details of his visage are the glinty, green-blue-purpley-black feathers across the back of his wings and down his tail. The primaries of his wings are again white with sharply-lined black tips. His dark legs are long-limbed and scaley. His eyes are a beady black and shine with a cold, curious intelligence that exceeds the mammalian kind. On the ground, he walks with a cautious, shifting gait. Like other birds, his movements are jerky and precise, but he is graceful and acrobatic in flight.

Possessions:
Being a bird, Roscoe does not burden himself with clothes like other woodfolk. He does however, wear things that he steals: ladies' necklaces, rings around his ankles, etc. The only thing actually of his own possession is a thin piece of wire tucked into the feathers of his wings, which he pulls out to use as a lock pick.

Personality:
Roscoe is like most birds, very single-minded and blunt. His intelligence exceeds his common sense - meaning he's too smart for his own good. His intellect goes into his scheming, and not into anything productive. It's all about himself and his own rewards, and he overlooks the effects of his actions on others. He cares none for furkind, but he holds no allegiance to those of his own either.

He's loud and obnoxious, and speaks in the third person. You can't turn your back on him, otherwise he'll snatch the fur off of your own head and be gone before you can turn around. He's crafty and sneaky, and knows when to feint or run when the odds are against him. He's not much of a fighter, so he relies on his stealth and agility, but a jab from his sharp beak is not something to take lightly.

He's also incredibly narcissistic and can be fooled by using his views of himself against him. He's not shy in letting others know how much more beautiful and smart he is then every one else.

History:
Roscoe grew up like all other magpies- with a love for robbing and the idea that the world is his oyster. His brothers and sisters of five were his early rivals, and he learned quickly to be the fastest and most cunning in order to survive. His parents were well versed in raising "proper magpie chicks" and made sure their offspring knew that they could only relay on themselves.

He left the nest when it was time, and has been flying above the trees of Mossflower, on the look out for victims since. He has amassed a small collection of valuables, which he stores in the secret dead oak he calls his home. He does nothing but collect these valuables, and fiercely protects his hoard of jewels and other shinies. He has flown both south and north past Mossflower's borders, but he prefers the woods, and so he always returns.

Looks good. I would recommend changing the weaknesses of "Obnoxious/Insulting" to poor relational skills in general, as those two behaviors would fall more under personality. Other than that, I'd suggest adding a bit more to his history.

I changed the first bit, however, his history was kept short intentionally. He was never meant to have an in-depth history because my intention was not to have him be a main character, but more of a side. He hasn't had any tragedies because he doesn't care about anybody but himself. He doesn't have any scars or injuries, etc.

I did lower his age to reflect his more uneventful life however if that helps. At 18, I didn't have much on my life resume either.
