Appearance: Talmid's fur is golden, with blackish grey highlights on it. Two blackish grey stripes run down Talmid's back and tthe edges of his tail, meeting at the end of his tail. Talid's entire belly, chest, and chin are white. His eyes are dark purple. Unlike most Redwallers, his habit is black with a silver girdle, and dark purple lining on the sleeves, hood, and bottom, with silver designs inside the purple. Finally, he has a scar that runs down his leg.
Possessions: Talmid has a pair of clear crystal spectacles to improve his eyesight. He also carries around with him blackthorn cane with a silver end.
Personality: Talmid is a very nice, caring squirrel who helps out with everything when not making ales, cordials, fizzes, and wines. He loves making jokes and playing with the Dibbuns. Still, he would die for the Dibbuns if they ever were to get in the middle of an invasion, despite his setbacks.
Strengths: Smart and Funny.
Weaknesses: His leg, which no longer hurts, has still made him to use a cane, and, as such, he can only run extremely short distances.
History: Born to a squirrel family in the borderlands, Talmid had a peaceful life. Really. No vermin attacks whatsoever. But when the news of all the vermin attacks in other places and all the death and strife, he decided to take up the sword at 16 and defend the innocent.
This went for five years. Then he came upon Redwall Abbey, in the midst of an attack. Talmid, along with the Ottercrew, drove away the vermin. The next vermin attack was about 2 years later. Talmid still drove them away, but recieved the gash in his leg that made him walk with a limp, forcing him to walk with a cane. The same attack nearly blinded him. Deciding that his time as a warrior was over, Talmid dropped the sword and took up the habit, finding his place as Cellarkeeper of Redwall Abbey, and he's been at that post ever since.
