Physical Appearance:
Tusan is an ermine, and as such, he is not a stranger to changing appearances. He is tall and stately, not built for strength, but for speed. His gait is fluid and graceful- purposeful like a snake's would be. His eyes are beady and intelligent, his face carefully molded into a non-threatening composure. Tusan normally wears tunics, vests, capes & boots of finer, yet durable materials. His favorite colors are greens, browns, and golds, although a few of his articles are a crimson red. His vests favor golden brocade and fine leather or gold belts. His clothes reflect the wealth of his family, but he prefers to dress down due to his traveling status. Robes, millions of rings, and a big, fat crown are best left to his father.

Possessions:
Tusan carries a finely-crafted rapier, a dagger tucked into his boot, and a fine, brass compass, as well as a plain golden insignia ring with his family's crest stamped into it. All other things were lost in the storm that wrecked him on the beaches of Mossflower.

Personality:
As an ermine, Tusan can change his demeanor like he can change the color of his coat. He is a master of deception, and can convince the wisest of beasts of his honest intentions. Unlike other vermin, however, Tusan despises senseless killing, and rarely kills except to defend. He's calm and patient, working his victims like one works a piece of leather. To most folk, Tusan comes across as a well-bred, english gentlebeast; to those with a bit more spirit, Tusan can be the jovial, quick-witted, roving-type. Perhaps his real personality is bits and pieces of them all. A true con artist through and through, Tusan just covers up his tracks with even more, cleverly-crafted lies. The truth is simply something he bends.

History:
Tusan's family have ruled over Greensward since his ancestors first conquered the lands. His great-great-great-great-grandfather was a warlord, who came from farther north with a vast horde into the southern lands, where he cut for himself a large chunk of land. There, at the southern most reaches of the isle, he settled, bringing the land under his rule. As a warlord, he was tough and cruel, and the first decades were hard and brutal for those who lived there. As the land passed onto each generation of Skarboroughs, the laws changed. Trade became the center of Greensward, and violence was almost unheard of in the streets. Greensward's laws are fair, but unforgiving; the penalty for any misdemeanor is death. Only guards and those of the royal family are trained in combat; the rest of the kingdom focuses intently on mercantile and finer arts. As such, there is a huge division between the upper and lower classes. Poverty is high among the majority of citizens, but most do not want for food and shelter. Getting somewhere in life is not impossible, but it is very hard - if you are not born into money, you have to earn it.

Ruling over a land filled with hardened merchants & investors means that you need to be on top of them all. The Skarboroughs are Greensward's most prominent merchant family, and as such, are also the ruling family. They are not afraid to undermine opposing families in order to keep their royal status. All members of the royal family are cunning and ruthless in matters of politics and trade. Greensward, although smaller then it was back in the day, is known throughout all the lands for their fine products. The capital of Greensward being on the coast, means that the Skarborough's specialize in sailing equipment, & simple goods to isles that need to import otherwise unobtainable things. Operating out the capital's port means that the Skarborough's also control the land's docks and what gets to be shipping in and out. Being on the royal family's bad side, is never a good thing for your business.

Although his father is the head of the business, Tusan often heads business ventures in his sway. Younger, with a flair for the unknown, Tusan VI's story here begins on a ship, heading to the northern coasts. A storm caused the carrier he was on to smash against the rocks, breaking up the craft and dumping everything into the sea. Tusan was the only survivor, and it is on the coast of Mossflower that he now finds himself, alone with the bedraggled clothes he was wearing, and whatever sound containers he can find from what was left of his ship.
