As it turns out, Salamandastron has a bit of an eagle problem.
The Plot:
A white tailed eagle has come to make it's home upon Salamandastron's craggy face, building it's nest high up on the mountainside where none can reach and it has a wondrous view of the landscape.
The Hares of the Long Patrol haven't normally had any trouble with eagles, the sea-faring birds usually swimming out over the western coasts for the fish and such.
So they weren't too worried to notice an eagle flying near the mountain.
Well, at least not until it tried carrying off a leveret.
It was the work of a quick-acting, javelin-wielding Captain that saved the youngster from certain doom -- the sound of alarm blaring even as the slightly-injured eagle flew off back to it's nest.
The leverets and the smallest cadets are no longer permitted to leave the mountainside without at least two armed adults, and the scouts and those with keen eyes are quickly trying to scope out where the eagle has made it's nest.
However, leverets and cadets are not the only prey of the White-Tailed Eagle; rabbits and young officers are also considered prime pickin's, and when the eagle takes off with one (or two) of their own, the Long Patrol must race against the clock (or in this case, climb a mountain) to get them back.
Of course, they're hares are not billy goats, so this is going to be quite a difficult task... And besides, what horrors await them when they finally reach the White-Tailed Eagle's nest?
Alrighty, xD random, odd little plot. We don't need a lot of people for this, just some hares to play the rescuers, and one or two hares (or in this case, rabbits) to play the victims.
Who's up for it? ^^
For anyone concerned that the White-Tailed Sea Eagle is not a bird native to UK, xD it's actually their largest bird of play.

Rescuers: (we'll probably need about 4 or 5, considering it's an eagle)
Victims: (Two or Three at the most, we can always have the eagle snatch one first, then come back and snatch one or two more)
any volunteers for either side?
