Name: Jaxyn (pronounced Jacks-in) Thyeon (Thy-on) Gender: Female Age: 17 Species: Fox Occupation: Lone hunter
Physical Appearance: She's rather short and scrawny for a fox, but because of this she finds it easier to hunt. It's easier for her to crouch behind or hide behind bushes and trees, and since she has less weight to carry around, she's quick too. Her fur is a dark reddish/brown, with her tail having a darker brown tip. Overall her fur is very ruffled, because she's hiding in thorn bushes or something similar while hunting, and she never cares enough to make herself look better. The way she sees it, she's on her own so there's no need to fix her appearance. Her usual clothes are a light brown tunic with a darker brown cloak, perfect colors for camouflage. Her quiver of arrows sticks out over her left shoulder so she can pull out an arrow with her dominant white paw. She has a few scars from run ins with unpleasant figures, but all are hidden by her cloak and tunic, save a faded one just to the right of her right eye, on her cheek. Apart from the scars, her appearance is quite ordinary for a fox, something she likes to use for her advantage whenever possible.
Possessions: Bow Arrows Small knife Small bag of herbs just in case
Personality: Unlike other foxes and vermin, she's somewhat mild mannered in the sense she won't go picking a fight with someone just because she can. If all possible, she'll try to talk her way out of a situation, because if she's able to talk herself into a better position (like talking someone into giving her something) she'd rather do that than waste arrows. That being said, she's not particularly easy to get along with. She won't stand for anyone overly impertinent or irritating towards her, nor does she appreciate being insulted either in terms of her skill set or her intelligence. It's just as easy to get on her good side than it is to get on her bad side, however. A few clever compliments, schemes, or a charming enough personality is enough to get her to warm to you. She always looks at things from a strategic point of view and because of this she rarely acts before giving the situation a brief thought. However, most situations she's in with being alone she has to act fast, so doesn't get to use her intelligence as often, especially while hunting.
Strengths: Archery;; She's always been the hunter in whatever vermin band she's been in, and now that she roams alone she's more dependent on herself. Since she has to provide for herself she needs to be good enough with a bow to be able to get the food she needs. Sly;; As with any fox, she's quite the schemer. During the time when she was in a band, however, she didn't get a good chance to show this skill off for the leader usually didn't listen to her. Living alone, though, she doesn't get much chance to be sly either since most of her decisions are in the spur of the moment. She uses the skill when what's she's hunting is a more difficult catch. Speaking;; Unlike most vermin, she's got a good sense of grammar and Mossflower Woods talk. While this doesn't allow her to get into the Abbey- since she's an armed fox- it lets her talk to any other woodlander she'd encounter while hunting. As well, she occasionally can convince other vermin she's not a threat because she talks so formally.(Your strengths may not outweigh your weaknesses by more than one.)
Weaknesses: Arrogant;; As with any character with a good skillset, she often overestimates her abilities far too much. She'll think she needs to put little effort into a task and thus fail at it, yet she never gets around to realizing it's her own fault. She can also tend to be very boastful about her abilities which can back her into a corner if she's talking to the wrong vermin. Quick to Anger;; Because she has such a high opinion of her abilities, she's not very tolerant of someone trying to one up her or someone putting down her skills. She also has a low tolerance for lesser intelligence, part of the reason why she wanted to stop being part of vermin bands. Stubborn;; She thinks her ways are almost always the best ways, and is very reluctant to change plans, especially when it's a plan she's used before and succeeded with. If the opposite plan is well enough though out, though, she will be substantially less irritated, but otherwise she's generally hard to sway.
