And please, if you don't want this here because it is not supposed to be advertised or considered spam, feel free to delete it. I used to run forums myself back in the hay day : )...and hated shameless plugs -.-
With that said, I'm going of a whim here in the c-box that it was deemed okay for me to do this. Essentially, here's my book Macar: The Iron Mane. Currently it is in e-book format on Amazon for the kindle, Mac, kindle iphone/ipod app, and PC.
It is going through its most recent edit and will be receiving a massive edit to address some grammatical issues as well as add in some additional details. After this edit, it will also be self-published in normal format too. I guess the main reason I'm posting the link is to get feedback on the cover. I'm really interested in whether or not, you guys, as fellow Redwall fans, would pick up this book by the cover.
I know the number one rule is not to judge a book by its cover, but hey, I'm just curious.

And to those who are interested, here's the summary:
The Iron Mane, a ship sailed by its squirrel captain, Arro, is a long time defender of Macar’s peace. With a loyal first mate, Deina Therrimore and the tenacious mouse, Swiv Lyons, the ship pushes on against any foe that stands in its way. However, when the bold crew stumbles upon a squirrel maiden harboring an ancient secret that holds the key to peace in Macar, the crew’s allegiance is pushed to its limits. Just what lies on the mysterious “Lost Isle,” and why is the reptilian sect known as Darkscales after it?
While the Iron Mane races to find the secrets that the infamous “Lost Isle” holds, Lord Deidric, one of five captains of the Obsidian Order, and hero of the Fourth War, investigates the falling of Obsidian Order influence. Troubled by an increase in Darkscale presence, the feline journeys across Macar with his raccoon squire, Edran Blayback, on a quest that may question the very foundation of Macar’s beliefs. If a solution is not met, winter war waits patiently on the horizon...
Can these beasts remain civilized, or will nature's design consume them, forcing the downfall of a hundred-cycle(years) old union?
