So as some of you know, my cousin let me raid her house because she and her family took nothing with them when they moved to restart their lives (which is great for them. They needed out of this hole to be able to really live).
I have two things for my daughter I made sure to swipe. A small, kindergarten wooden desk that is attached to a chair, has an installed cup holder, with a storage-seat. It's currently Dora the Explorer themed (which I don't like. It's not that I hate what the shoe does, but I don't own cable or any form of TV outside of movies so I think it's a bit silly for my daughter to own things from stuff she's never seen before).
So! I've already spoken to my step father (who is a handy man) about how to go about this, and it is entirely possible I can repaint the whole thing (as well as reinstall the latch system to put in one of the slow-moving ones to keep my daughter's fingers from getting slammed from the seat-lid). Her room is green and yellow in colors (forest/jungle themed for the most part). Any ideas what I should put on there? (Yes, I did debate Redwall because she loves me reading the books to her. X3)
The second object is a Barbie Jeep. The battery powered ones? It's only a year old, though the stickers have been worn down on it. So I plan to scrape those off and do something else (there is a type of paint made for plastic, after all. I don't like pink but I will keep it). I can't decide if I want to do an actual theme or just decal it out like a real car.
Thoughts?
