Trouble on the North Coast ((PLOT!))

A long-standing era of prosperity has ended on the Northern Shores with the coming of the Black Rat King, Lord Obsidius Bane, and his Darkfire Horde comprised of the coldest vermin the North Coast has ever seen. Enslaving all creatures they come across, Lord Bane and the Darkfire Horde are striking terror into the hearts of all with the introduction of a deadly new weapon.

Snakes.

Imported from a faraway land, Lord Bane has brought to the Northern Coast a symbol of death itself: the mighty King Cobra.

When a young, severely wounded otter escapes the clutches of Obsidius Bane and his army and washes up on Salamandastron's shores, the hares of the Long Patrol mobilize to face off against this newest threat.

However, their element of surprise is soon lost, for unbeknown to them -- a mercenary specializing in slave-hunting has tracked the whereabouts of the wounded otter, and rushed back to Lord Bane's side to announce the Long Patrol's forthcoming arrival.
With enough time to prepare for the assault, Lord Bane has rallied his forces, preparing to clash head on with the mighty Salamandastron fighting hares -- all the while recruiting vermin corsairs and mercenaries to fight for the Darkfire Horde, intending to strike on both land and sea.

So with the corsairs closing in fast on Salamandastron's shores, the hares drive deeper into the Northlands while the Dark Horde lies in wait for their arrival. Can the Badger Lord and the remaining Salamandastron hares drive back the corsairs and join forces to defeat the Darkfire Horde?

Things to Note:

=) Alright gang, looks like we're gonna need Long Patrol hares (obviously), some slaves in the Northlands under Obsidius Bane, some vermin for the horde and lots and lots of pirates. LOL.

Ooh, one more thing. xD Since I came up with the plot, I'll be playing the injured otter who starts this whole thing, so that spot is filled. I'd like to NPC Obsidius Bane, if possible? I wouldn't mind making a big ol' profile for him, if you guys want me to. If someone else wants to Rp the evil rat king, xD I guess that'd be okay.

=) awesome! Both Tampa and Hortense are welcome editions to the plot. and we definitely need slaves (both former and current) as well as evil beasties.

Tampa will be heading north soon. I don't know about Fawn, where she is or when she'll return, but I still want to get this under way. Anyone want to come along?

I wouldn't mind introducing the Mossguard to this, but they're located in the Mossflower area. It's a bispecies, military-based organization, for those of you who don't know. i think it'd be cool to incorporate them into it.

I'm willing to toss in my Lord and his royal guard (one score) into this. If they get wind of this, they could march for Salamandastron.

Um, let me see. Um, Colour Sergeant MacCross and his platoon are stationed by the border into the North, and can either go to investigate and meet up with them, or have sent a cry for help which was received by them.

We definitely need both. The area is the high north coast, and it was home to several otter clans, so most slaves would probably be otters, but I'm sure there'd be other species as well. And we always need a good hordemember!

Sure! I was just wondering, though, for the slave - would it matter where he/she came from, and would he/she be a current slave of Lord Bane? (Silly sounding questions, maybe, but I just wanted to clear a few things up)

^^ It doesn't matter where they came from, and yes they would be a current slave of Lord Bane, unless they escaped! I'd like to not have too many escapees, but a couple more wouldn't be a problem! :]
