Alright, so I had an idea for a Redwall plot for whenever the board is ready for it. It's major and will affect those at Redwall whether they decide to participate or not.
A tribe of battle-hardened beasts consisting mostly of squirrels visit Redwall and accept the abbot's kind invitation to reside there indefinitely. However, the tribe of squirrels have their own set of beliefs that nearly mirror those shared by many Salamandastron residents, but these squirrels are far more militaristic. They quickly use their numbers and superior fighting and tactical skills to take over and place the abbey under martial law. It is their thinking that Redwall is too valuable to be controlled by pacifists who seem incapable of defending the lands its order has sworn to protect. True Redwallers defy the will of the squirrel tribe and implement a resistance to evict their battle-prone guests.

Dude, I'm vitally involved in the two plots currently going on, but if you want to implement something like this, I could throw Enon or Grath in there somewhere. Even if I don't, I'd read along as this plot progresses.

Oliver is in redwall! He's ready for anything. A big squirrel-warrior like him is ready for a challenge to protect the beasts of Redwall from this tribe. =P

This sounds like a plot I would be eager to take part in. ^^ (And since I have yet to make any characters here, I'm wide open to help out either way. ;3)
But even if staff is busy, why not run the plot yourself Vivian? ;3, If you got enough people who were interested to take part you could simply run the story arc yourself. ^^, After all, IRL events tend to overlap. ;3, Why not RP events too? ^^

I'm in. We could add another element by an outside force of wanderers/ect. trying to assist the rebellion from the outside, or a band of vermin trying to wrangle the power for themselves. I have plenty of free characters, as I haven't been around in a while.
I've got two guys inside the abbey, a mole and a mouse. I have two stoats looking for some blood near St. Ninian's (that's where they were last time I used them...), along with a hare in that area. There's also my other mouse and a shrew chillin' near Salamandastron.
Whenever you're ready, I'm in!

Sounds awesome Galileo. I just finnished an otter gal. She's only 16 but she'll aid to the plot in any way she can.
