Requesting Rules

The following is a set of regulations pertaining to the proper conduction of graphics requesting. If any other issues are in need of addressing, please contact a forum administrator.

• Please create a topic with a VALID, EXPLANATORY name. 'hi i have a request' is not one of them. (Ex: Sig of Martin Please)
  
• Do NOT bump your request topic or rush the acceptor of your request. Requests are a privilege, not a right, and anybody has the right to NOT accept your request.
  
• Do not post multiple request threads containing the same request. We don't need a billion copies of your thread; once is plenty.
  
• We are not responsible for your satisfaction. An outcome is determined solely by the acceptor.
  
• Make your requests as detailed as possible. 'hi i want a sig of my character he looks like a mouse' is NOT enough. A format for requests will be provided.
  
• NO STEALING. If anyone is ever caught leeching off somebody's hard work, I will personally ban you. If you can't do something yourself, at least ask permission to use the graphic first and give credit for it. You are obligated to report thieving.
  
• You MUST give credit to the creator of your requested graphic.

Request Formats

Type: What kind of graphic is this? Is it an avatar, a signature, or something else? Please be specific.
Dimensions:* ** How big is it? Please state in pixels. (Ex: 400x35 px)
Text: Optional. What do you want it to say?
Font: Optional; required if using Text. What kind of font do you want for it? Please try to provide a link to this sort of font, as acceptors normally don't have the time, patience, or sanity to spend four hours looking for a particular font.
Border: Optional. The basic border is a plain, 1 px line around the edge of your graphic. Please note that the border will be part of the dimensions. Please state the type of border and how thick you wish it to be.
Images: Please include the images you wish to use in your signature. Again, we don't have the time, patience, or sanity to go scrounging about for pictures. Please do not over-kill your request with images. An avatar is not going to house fifty different 800x600 renders.
Background: What kind of background do you want? If there are any images you can provide, please do so. Backgrounds can be anything from solid colors to brushed and edited images.
Color: Optional. What colors do you want it to be? Requesting this means that your graphic will be dominant in these colors.
Other: Is there anything else? Do you want any special effects or etc? (Ex: Lens Flare, Faded/Washed Out, Darken, etc.)

* - Default Avatar size is 100x00 pixels. If you wish to request one, it cannot be more than this size.
** - Signatures should not exceed 580 pixels in width or 300 pixels in height. This is to keep scrolling to a minimum and keep from expanding the boards.
Note - Please try to make these requests reasonable.

Type: What kind of image is this? Will it be a sketch, shaded sketch, colored, etc.?
Focal Image: What do you want in the image? This will be the main focus of the image. There may be more than one, but please don't request ridiculous amounts of characters, thanks. Please provide reference images and links if possible, thanks.
Background: Optional. What kind of background do you want? If there are any images you can provide, please do so. Backgrounds can be anything from solid colors to brushed and edited images.
Other: Is there anything else? Do you want any special effects or etc? (Ex: Lens Flare, Faded/Washed Out, Darken, Sepia, etc.)

Note - Please try to make these requests reasonable. None of us here are professional artists.
