Southpaw is and he has long lanky legs. He has very strong arms and hard fists. South has light sandy fur witch he got from his mother. He has bright blue eyes and is taller than his younger siblings. There is some debate about who is taller between the twins though. Southpaw tells every beast that hes taller though. He wears a plain brown jacket with brown breeches when he is running for the Badger Lord which helps him blend in with the sand.
For around the mountain he wears a green Long Patrol uniform
Possessions:
His only weapon is a short walking stick. And a short sharp dagger which he can also through very well.
Personalty:
He and his twin brother like to play jokes and sometimes create chaos about the mountain. But it always ends happily (for most beasts anyway).
Whenever there is a perilous situation which seems hopeless South can always cheer you up. It seems even if your just around him he emanates warmth and hope. Even when he himself doesn't have much hope.
He can be serious at times though. He wants to become an officer in the Long Patrol sometime, when he doesn't have to take care of his family.
Southpaw doesn't have the bloodwrath, He also doesn't know that his brother Nico has it for he has never fought alongside him yet. He does however know that his twin Eastpaw has it. He is careful not to get in his way. He often gets worried when the bloodwrath comes over him because he doesn't want him to get killed like his mother. He always stays as close as is safe though, so as not to leave him alone when they are fighting vermin.
He loved his father, and after the tragic death of their mother he started learning boxing from his father. To take his mind of of their mother. He was learning enough and fast enough that his father didn't have much time to thing about it.
Strengths:
--Paw-to-paw- South is very good at Paw-to-paw combat. He can use a dagger very well but he doesn't use t much. He uses his paws most for boxing.
-- Jokes- South loves to play jokes,( Which I'm not sure if it should be a weakness) and can oft-times make beasts laugh and cheer them up when there sad. He always keeps his spirits high. And other beasts.
--Climbing- Southpaw unlike other hares s extremely good at climbing. He could scale a tree or a mountain very fast. Boxing helps harden his paws and toughen them up for climbing.
Weaknesses:
--Combat- He's not very good at using any weapons besides his dagger. He could use a sword f his life depended on. Sure he could pic it up and wave it about but he'd probably chop his own head off.
--Fire- He can't stand fire. He just seems to have a deep fear of it. Mostly just big fires though.
History:
A boxing hare, South is on par with his brother, it is oft-times hard to tell which of the twins is better at boxing. He is a jovial type, out to get a laugh from those around him. He is certainly a perilous hare, but he’s never been tested in true battle.
Southpaw has four siblings. Two sisters and two brothers.Five years ago one of the sisters was lost at sea along with their father. No one knows what happened. Their mother had been killed by rapscallions while fighting them. She was induced with the bloodwrath and that's what got her killed. The children live at Salamandastron now. Southpaw hopes one day to go out to sea and look for their father and baby sister in hopes that there still alive.
He has also vowed to slay the ones who kill the ones who killed his mother. He often has nightmares about his father and sister drowning, and about his mother being slain by the evil vermin (4 6 10).
South always wanted to join the Long Patrol but with his family to take care of he hasn't been able to. He feels since he's the oldest he must take care of them and make sure nothing else happens to them. Even though his twin Eastpaw takes the blame for the loss of there parents and younger sister South knows it wasn't his fault.
He doesn't remember much from his child hood. (when his mother died) He does remember his father though. Quite clearly. He remembers the journeys they made to Green Ilse. And how on the way back from the third trip there was a great storm (13, 15, 19,) there father and little sister were lost. He remembers seeing Eastpaw standing at the door to the cabin weeping. And how he had run out to help his sister but had been ordered back in and his father going out instead. Then over the side came a great big wave and carried them both away.
