Ballaw is tall and lanky like many hares. He has a bit of mountain hare in his blood, so his fur changes colors due to the seasons. His summer coat is a tawny brown color, but his winter coat is white like the other hares. He has dark brown eyes. He isn't very muscular, he is more of a runner.
Attire--
Ballaw usually wears the uniform of the long patrol. If he has an off day, he will wear a short red tunic with a white fringe. He preffers his uniform however.
Balla doesn't carry much around with him when he is on patrol. He has a short sabre that he wields. He carries a small medical pouch with him, in case he gets hurt.Personality:
Balla is shy hare. He jokes around with his close friends, but doesn't make friends easily. Most of his thoughts are directed inward. He only speaks if he feels it is necessary. He will speak out against an injustice because he feels all creatures should be treated equally, even vermin. He hates vermin and everything they stand for. He is a loyal hare and will follow his badgerlord/lady to the ends of the earth if need be. He loves running and is fairly good at it.Strengths:

Ballaw Consfortingham Wothers the 2nd was born on Salamandastron to Ballaw Consfortingham Wothers the 1st and Breeze Dillworthy. He was an only child and his parents expected a lot from him. He grew up under the watchful eye of the leveret nurse. He was always escaping and running to watch the warriors train. He discovered he was good at running during this time. He began running all the time, sometimes with his close friends, but most of the time by himself. When he was ten eight seasons old, he was helping his mother in the kitchen, and a pot of boiling water scalded his hand. He never wanted to cook again. Even to this day, he stays away from the food preperation.
He knew he wanted to be a Long Patrol hare from the moment his father told him stories. His father trained him in combat when he was ten seasons old. His father was a officer in the Long Patrol and felt that his son would best learn under him. Ballaw was fairly good at the sword, and distastrous at anything long range. He trained hard under his father's tutelage. His father still had duties as an officer. He led his patrol out south toward Redwall when they were ambushed by a coastal vermin army. They were outnumbered and were slaughtered. He became enraged and began to hate vermin. He now thinks the only good vermin is a dead vermin When it came time to join the Long Patrol, he chose a light sabre from the forge room.
He was assigned to a group led by Sargeant Widepad. He was so happy to be a Long Patroller. He was hesitant at first, but he finally opened up to his squad and became good friends with them. He was beginning to learn about healing from the squad's healer,so when his squad lost their healer to a vermin arrow, Ballaw took up the slack and learned as much as he could from the nurse at Salamandastron when he wasn't patrolling.
