 Hello all. I just wanted to point out a few things I think the site could use, just to help the members out a little. 1) Do you think we could have a roster (like the Salamandastron one) to tell us who is permanently residing at Redwall and who's only visiting temporarily? The roster could also note who's in what group -- for example, there should be a list of Otters in Skipper's ottercrew, a list of cooks for the friar, and a list of moles in Foremole's crew. Just so we can tell where everyone is. 2) Dialects and Mannerisms -- I think a thread about the various dialects in the book series could be very useful, especially if anyone wants to make a mole or a character with a Scottish accent. 3) Insults --  I think this one could just be strictly for fun. All the colorful insults used in the books (and made up by the members) in one spot would make it easy for RPers to spice up their Rp with a few unique insults tossed in. Because calling someone a "meanie" is not as much fun as saying "you're about as much fun to talk to as an overstuffed frog with a toothache!" 4) We need the Horde Commandments for the vermin. How come only Salamandastron gets all the fun? =) Let me know what you guys think! I'll try and add more to this list as I think of them.

I agree with the above! It would deffinetly be helpful if we kept a roster for all the beasts, not just the hares of Salamandastron. ^^

I'm thinking instead of just suggesting it, we put some of this stuff together ourselves. We can post it in the General Board or something, but at least that way the staff wouldn't have to do as much. I mean, what's stopping us from making our own helpful threads? (like Jan's grammar thread) I could take a swing at explaining the Scottish dialect, since I'm, y'know, Scottish. ^^ As for the other dialects in Redwall....not so much. ;D But if anyone's good at molespeech, it would be great if he could explain it. And y'know, I could probably write something on mannerisms, though not the cultural kind. And anyone could start a thread for people to post some creative insults. That would be fun. If it's alright with the admins, I wouldn't mind helping out either. I once found this awesome dictionary with molespeak and all that hullabaloo. I can try to find it again. ;D |

I had an evil overlady list around here somewhere, I don't know where it went. It was called Lorna's Evil Overlady list.
