Well, here it is folks, my as-of-right-now nameless badger (lord). ^^; go easy on the critiquing, this was my first drawing with a tablet, and I have no grasp of shading...or...anything else for that matter. The reason for the odd colors is because he's my take on a Erythristic Badger (it's like a brown and white badger, and is more common than an albino badger).

Ooh, I like his coloring! And his eyes look so pretty! What program do you use with your tablet?
Also, as a suggestion for a name (you don't have to use it if you don't want to) Cedarvale. Kaios (kie-ohs) Cedarvale. Just a thought. Nice work, once again!

^^ Thanks! I figured the only way to get a Honey Badger onto the forum was to literally make a honey-colored badger (lol). I use the trial version of Paint Tool SAI, and when that runs out I'll probably bug my Dad to get some sort of photoshop thing or go back to using GIMP. =) Kaios Cedarvale? That's a really nice name! The way the first name is spelled sounds more like 'chaos' to me, lol, but I think it might be a bit too nice for this guy. he's the rough and rude sort. Horrible, horrible table manners. The eyes were actually the hardest part of him to draw, lol. Took me the good part of an hour to finally figure it out. o.O It was probably not a good idea to finish Rakkety Tam and then draw a badger... he came out a little 'Gulo the Savage' like. -cough- ^^; oops.

Ooh, I got the trail of SAI, too a year or so ago. I really liked it, but I already had a different program. Photoshop Elements is a really, really, really easy to use program. I use it for everything you see on my site. (Except the sketches, obviously. Those are done with lead pencil). You can pronounce the name, spell the name, change the name any way you want to. I just wanted to offer my two bits in helping you figure out a good name. Oh, my, eyes are tough. They have to be even and symmetrical and they have to be looking in the same direction . . . It's hard sometimes. Haha, Guilo was pretty awesome, but I think wolverines are a restricted species on this site.

I think I have a photoshop elements lying around here somewhere. =) I'll see if I can install it tomorrow, it's an old version though.
Haha, Gulo was one of my favorite villains, simply because he was absolutely insane, and seemingly invincible. I wouldn't want to play a wolverine though. It'd be too hard to balance out the character's strengths and weaknesses. xD Gulo was practically on godly levels compared to the typical Redwall creatures.
Wildcats and Badgers seem closer in strength than Wolverines and Badgers. YIKES.

Woah...this is nice! I love the shading and the color is really nice too. For some reason I get the feeling it's fur would be very soft. Also the eyes aren't bad!

Thank you for your kind words, Promatera! haha, you're right, his fur probably is oddly soft, despite the fact that this particular badger hails from the North.

Thanks Tul! Haha, I wouldn't be surprised if he was! This particular badger lord is a bit of a...hard-arse, he prefers tough-love when dealing with new recruits.

^^ I felt like drawing a hare today, and started doodling! Some random Colonel of the Long Patrol, xD with his scowling "You sah, are a disgrace to hares from sea to bally flippin' sea, back to the barracks before I have your flippin' ears for bootstraps!" at least that's what I tried to make it look like. xD Some poor recruit is about to get scolded within an inch of his life. - I can't draw fur/hair (hence the wonky mustache)
- Hare faces are REALLY tough to draw. ><!
- At least the uniform looks nice...er...sorta...

Haha, I LOVE this guy's expression, Fawn! He actually looks like a hare character I once tried to make. Major Montague the Magnificent, I called him. He's now in the archive of old-never-gonna-be-used characters, but your picture brought him back to mind.
Great work with his monocle, too, by the way.
-salutes- Sah, yessah! Right away, sah!

^^ thanks! After seeing all of the amazing stuff you did, :3 it's nice to be able to soak in some praise from someone with lots of skill. Major Montague the Magnificent, huh? I'm a big fan of alliteration, xD so bonus points for that! What was this Major like? xP maybe I'll go hunt for that profile!

Oh, Montague never even made it to profile stage. I doodled him up one day, gave him a name, and really never looked at him again. But he was fun to draw. I planned to use him for a fan fiction I wanted to write, but he was replaced with a younger recruit named Cordin Fitzpatrick Galahad III, who also never made it onto an RP site. But if you want to use either of those names for those hare characters you're making, feel free. Great job again!
