Back after a Year!

^^; ahem...yeah... Sorry about disappearing out of nowhere! (Especially to you Wildrun, I know we had an RP going, D: ) I was busy trying to get through my last year of high school, and prepare for college! With both out of the way, I can now return and hopefully be a much more dedicated member than I was in the past. -cough-
=) what revived my interest in Redwall was me buying The Sable Quean, which I absolutely loved! After about half-way through the book, I felt my RP senses tingling, and remember the good folks at Redwall Abbey! So here I am, to see what's new, make some goodbeasts & vermin of my own, and generally lurk to my heart's content.

lol, and I noticed your member info says female, xD so no confusion at all. I think I'll browse around for some threads to join. Poor Killian hasn't had his chance to shine since the day I made him!

Quick question, but do we have an Abbott or Abbess anymore? 0.0 there seem to be a lot of empty staff positions.

Wow, you've got quite a collection! I own all the Redwall books except the Rogue Crew. I'm not bragging, mind you, because it took years of scouring half price bookstores and clearance tables at Hastings to find all of them.

I wish this place was a bit more active -nudges site with foot- so recruiting sounds like a good idea to me. We have been getting a good stream of new, active members lately, but school's just begun so folks are busy. The threads that are updated on a daily to weekly basis are tons of fun, too.

Welcome back Fawn! Like Jan I'm pretty new here myself (although I am male XD). I began to rp when summer started for me because I had more time to get back into the series and this has been an awesome site. In fact I've just started reading Rakkety Tam too! XD

Unfortunately it seems the site has lost a bit of activity, but we've had several new members who are adding quite a bit and things have begun to pick up! As far as recruiting goes, that is a great idea! It would be great to see this site become more active, but as it is now it isn't bad at all (though Salamandastron is in a sad state).

In any case welcome back and I look forward to seeing ya in some threads!

=D oh that's great! How do you like it so far? It's one of my absolute favorites, next to the Taggerung, High Rhulain and the Sable Quean. Gulo the Savage is wonderfully wicked. A villain truly worth fearing. (He's the only one in the entire series that gave me goose bumps! ha! )

Awww, I'm sorry to hear Salamandastron is in bad shape, looks like we're missing a lot of much-needed positions!

Well, I might as well welcome ya back, even though I never knew ya. So. . . Welcome back!

I love Rakkety Tam, but that may have something to do with my Scottish blood. I've been trying forever to get my paws on The Rogue Crew. I think I'm just gonna say "What the heck," and drive an hour to the nearest Barnes and Noble this Friday, so I'll let you know how good it is on Saturday. ;D (Looked in a bookstore yesterday. They had a shiny new Redwall on display, but I couldn't actually find any of the novels in the store. Who does that?)

Anyway, yeah, activity 'round these parts is lethargic compared to what it was four years ago, but the members we do have here are awesome, so you shouldn't have a problem getting into the game.

I've got Scottish blood as well, so maybe that's also why I have such an attachment to that novel. Ha! Maybe everyone saw the new Redwall on display and bought them all before you came in?
given how awesome this series is, it's possible!

Let me know if the Rogue Crew is worth getting! But no spoilers! D: (I'm waiting until its out in Paperback, so it doesn't break the rule that 'all Redwall books I buy must be in paperback so they fit on my shelves better', lol. That and I prefer the snazzy covers.)
