A lone figure walked through the dunes as the moonlight glittered on the sand, making it appear as if there were tiny crystals among them. "Vot did I come this far for?" He asked himself in his deep accent. "Dare is no trees vere I can hind myself in." He muttered some more. The black cloak he wore hid his total figure, gender, species, and any weapons he may have been carrying, which was a lot. He sprayed sand on his trackes with his striped tail as he alked farther among the dunes, looking around with his natural-nightvision for any beasts that may stop him in his hired assissination to kill three hares of the 'Long Patrol'. He had no clue who or what it was, but only that the rat who hired him wanted them dead and he would pay handsomly for it. He reached under his cloak to feel the custom vest, and to check that all half score of his daggers were there -which they were.
He watched all movement that was made on the dunes ahead and around him with his pink eyes, using every tactic to recognize what they were. Unluckily, there were no beasts in them, only crabs and sand drifts. 'Misha, vot have you gotten yourself into?' He thought to himself. He pawed at his dirk and smiled slightly to himself as he spotted a cave in the side of a dune. Creeping into it in total silence, he flung the ten daggers at the crabs that lived inside, and then made a smoke-free fire to burn the crabs for food. He stabbed his short-sword into the ground for any use that it may need.
((In case you haven't noticed, Misha[his name] has a Russian accent, hence his name 'Misha Doyama Schneetezil'))

A black fox wandered around to the beach. He reveled in the beauty of the scenery, but frowned at the blemish caused by the cloaked figure. He took of his pack, and rested his white-tipped paw on the chain wrapped around his waist. "And what might you be doing here, suspiciously hidden within the folds of your cloak. Knowing your type, you are up to absolutely no good." He showed his razor-sharp teeth as he looked towards the raccoon. The chain bolo around his waist hardly made a sound as he carefully pulled it off. "Well, answer me, or are you trying to be a confusing enigma?"

Misha slowly turned to the figure disturbing him of his meal. Standing up to his full height, which was not very tall for his species, he looked to the fox and sized him up. "Vot do you vant with me? I am having nothing to do in your business, and it shall be in your best intentions not to interfere with my work." He said, his accent heavy and mennacing. He parted the front of his cloak to show the halfscore of dagger, and chose his two throwing daggers. He unsheathed them and held them in a stabbing position. If the fox interefered, he'd be alliminated and he'd resume his current mission to the assassination of the Long Partol soldiers.

Alaris laughed. "I do believe you think you can kill me quickly. I assure you, whatever you are, that you will not manage to get the best of me. As for the whole reason i am bothering with you at all, is simply this; you don't belong here, and you are obviously up to no good. My whole being is opposed to sitting here while someone like you murders an innocent beast, or some such nonsense. So, do you want to try your luck with me?" He began spinning his bolo around in a slow, lazy arc.

Misha just smirked at him and shook his head. He circled him a couple times, 'Oohing', and 'Ahhhing' when needed to, and stopped again in front of him. He crossed his arms and pointed at him while doing so. "You know, you think that you are so tough. Vell, they alvays say to never judge somebeast by their looks." He growled and twirled his daggers in his hands, then going into a cartwheel to a backflip, he aimed at the fox's head for a killing blow.

Alaris grimly smiled. "That saying rings true, most likely for the both of us." Alaris stopped spinning his chain bola and jumped backwards. The racoon's strike delivering a breeze by his face. Alaris hopped backwards once again, and then, holding the bola by one end, swung it above him. When he judged he had enough momentum built up, he swung the two remaining ends of his bolo down, to where the racoon's black and white masked face was last.

Misha easily avoided the overweight weapon by doing backflip to a few paces behind where he was. "Vot did I do to envoke you anyvays? I did nothing that I know of." He hopped from footpaw to footpaw, awaiting the next attack. ((sowwy for sucky post, writer's block))

The fox swung his iron bola end up from where it landed. He then spun it around in a wide circle, standing only on the ends of his footpaws. He dropped, and let his weapon go, where it spun right to Misha's legs. Alaris hoped to break the raccoon's legs at least. "If I remember correctly, you were the one to start the attack." (Bleh, i got a writer's block too.)

Misha jumped the attack with ease and smirked at the fox. "If I remember, you vere the vone to disrupt my meal, no?" he said. He tossed his sword and dirk into the air, caught them in the opposite paws in a stabbing position, and sliced at the fox. ((Curse you WB!!! **cries**))

Alaris dodged to the side and executed a roll behind Misha. He sprang out of the roll and grabbed his bola from the sand. He whirled up back to facing his opponent. "Pardon me sir. I had no idea you were eating. If you are still famished, you can eat your fill. Of this!" He lunged with his outstreatched paws to the racoon's midriff.

Misha bowled over with the fox, but quickly counterattacked by putting his footpaws onto the fox's stomach, and kicked him up into the air, but only when they were on the rturn swing so that the fox went behind him. He got up quickly and sheathed all his weapons, going into a fighting stance, ready for paw-to-paw combat.

Alaris fell in the sand with a whoosh of expelled breath. He felt his chest, and pulled his white paws back up. They were slightly stained by blood, meaning that the raccoon's hind claws had scratched his belly. He rolled over and pushed himself out of the sand. He saw that Misha had sheathed his weapons, so he returned his bola back to his waist. "So, it's come to brawling huh? Very well then. Let's begin again." Alaris jumped about, streatching out untill he believed that he was ready. He grinned and moved to where his chest was going at a slight angle. His left paw(closest to the raccoon) was extended, and the fingers were slightly curled. His right hand was pulled up to his chest, in the same position. His left leg was extended, and he leaned on his right. "Come on."

Misha smiled crookedly and cracked his knuckles. He ran to the fox and grabbed the fox's left paw, pulled him in, punched him in the nose, and did a backflip so that he kicked him in the jaw. He ended off with a few more backflips and rolls to start in the same position as before. ((If it's too god-modey, just tell me, I honestly am brain-dead right now... Sowwy...))

(occ:Yes it is. But don't worry about it. I shall take it in stride...) Alaris rolled backwards in the sand, then sprung back up. He looked cynically at Misha. "That was unexpected." The midnight fox spat a gobbet of blood on the sand, and resumed his pose of before. "But believe you me, that won't happen again. Now, lets try this again. Come at me!"
