Post some music that you think go with your characters.
It could be a theme song, their song that plays when they battle, etc. I'll start.
For Oliver:
Oliver going into Bloodwrath(his transformation): (this song usually comes to mind) The first 37 seconds is reflective upon his emotions before he changes. 38 seconds onwards is reflecting on him transforming then getting ready to strike. Audiomachine - "Red Warrior" (seems fitting as a title xD)
Victory music: (Eiither when he wins a major battle with a big group by his siide, and when he goes back to Redwall alive and beaten, but with a win for a battle.)

Hmm... I must say, this is a pretty interesting thread. Well... I think for Taross the Warlord (my wolverine character) this tune would be quite fitting: It's very strong, somewhat dark, deep, and triumphant. The lyrics are in Russian It's by the Ukrainian band Firelake. They featured the song in the Stalker series of video games (on of my all-time favorite series) As for Daniel (my river otter character) I'd choose a song by Enya: This song is deep, surreal, hopeful, and full of wonder, which are all qualities of Daniel. Enya FTW

Wow, those are really nice songs, I listened to both of them.
Definitely a lot different from what I chose! Now I'll have to read your characters so I can get a better correlation between the songs and the characters

Interesting Thread Indeed Good choices Shadow flame, i especially liked Red warrior. Very Fitting for what you had in mind. and Daniel: your choices are great as well. I have been roleplaying with you for a while now, and your choices are both very good representations of your characters!. As far as mine, I have three Characters, with two songs To describe them Dax The polecat and Tetra the Ermine: neutral pirates I picked this song because it was the piece that inspired me to create the characters. They share much of their history together and have experienced much of the same emotions. This song starts off on a bit of a sad note, reflecting the pain in each of the characters life...the song slowly builds in volume and intensity, aswell as getting brighter until it climaxes near 3:05 which i feel represents gaining more and more courage as time passes at 3:27 the tempo changes to a much more confident tone and has a catchy bright rhythm. and a nice baseline. I feel that this ending part of the song represents moving on / a new life/ revenge maybe. Then there is my Otter character. A much more simple character who has known much conflict and war in his life An upbeat song that isn't dark, nor overly emotional is in order here. one that signifies battle quite well....I cant think of one that fits the bill more than Europa by Globus

Wow, I just listened to both of those songs, they were great! The build ups, the beat, I enjoyed them. =] I'll definitely have to come around to reading all your characters so I can get a better feel for the song and character.
Heres a song for my River Otter, Rex "The Woodmaster" Irontail, a well known carpenter and architect across the woods of mossflower.
This song reflects the beginning of his life to now especially when he had the major accident, where he only wanted to be a simple beast at first. As he grew up he realized living in the Abbey wasn't his type of deal. He read stories and many scrolls, journals, etc, on the many beasts who were wood workers, house builders, and designers. He had to train to survive traveling mossflower, he became a great swords beast with a middle sized sword and worked hard for everything. Sometime in his early twenties he was hoisting up a wooden support beam for a home; the rope snapped! Leaving the beam to hurdle down, slicing his chest open wide. They thought he was a goner..
It took months and months before he fully healed, and even still, the large scar on his chest down to his upper abdomen reminds him of that day.
Now he's twenty nine, and at the highest point of his life, feeling great and healthy which is also represented towards the end of the song.

I'd say my hare Swing is this song by KT Tunstall: It's a guy who knows what he wants, but isn't entirely sure how to get there and is just going to do his best to have fun along the way. Life is hard, sometimes, but it's still good. I wish I'd done a better job of explaining him in his bio. ^^" www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn_muvEOJ9AI dunno how to do the video thing.
