I was just wandering out of curiosity if there was a place where river otters dwelled specifically. and what of Holt summer dell?

I do not think there is Green Isle on LORA but it was in High Rhulain and represented Ireland. It's my favorite place in the books!

It's my favorite place to. And no, I haven't seen it on LoRA yet. I think some people have used it in character Bios (I may to) but it isn't one of the areas, I think, because it was mentioned so little in BJ's books. There isn't really a place where river otters dwelt specifically, and if it there it might be there. River otters of course live near water, that's all I know... lol!

Green Isle is not 'where otters are from' as the only homeland of the otters aforementioned. Rather, it is merely another place, just like Southsward and Salamandastron are different places. It just happens to be an island of mostly otters, and not all sea otters, at that.
I've never heard that it represents Ireland though.

Well thats true that Green Isle is not where otters are from, my bad sorry. But Ireland is called 'The Green Isle' and the otters from there speak with an Irish accent and they fight for their Independence so I'm pretty sure it represents Ireland.

Yeah it just seems a whole lot like Ireland... My parents have been to Ireland... it sounds like it is a good bit like Green Isle in the books. XD Everything is GREEN!!!
