Alright, peoples, here's the deal--Although it has been AGES since I've updated my Naruto/Bleach fanfics, I've started a Redwall fic. So far, I have one chapter written and I won't be posting anything in Fanfiction.net until I finish one of my other stories. But, it's good to finally start planning ahead in my writing instead of just winging it and making up the plot as I go. The first chapter is really short, about a page and a third. As you read this I have actually started on the second chapter. It was going to be centric to my characters, but then I realized--i don't have nearly enough characters to fill Redwall.
So, it begins. I need not only a complete plot idea, but more characters. I would be honored if some of you would lend me your characters for this story. The title I've thought of is Winterwood--not sure why, it just popped into my head. Then again, Oaklea and Mapel, my two protagonists that most of you have met by now, are from a northern place...that I've now named Winterwood. ^^"
Here's what I've got so far:
First chapter is in which Tataroo, the evil stoat/main bad guy, watches his ship burn to nothing. He assembles his crew of corsairs and decides his best options lie in the famous Redwall Abbey.
----He does not want to keep Redwall. His aim is to conquer it, take whatever slaves/valuables he can, then sell the place to the highest bidder. With his newly accquired wealth, he'll gatehr a bigger crew and make himself a proper fleet. He doesn't care about the Abbey--he wants to rule the seas.
The second chapter starts with Oaklea, badly burned and alone, stuck in the marshes. She's making her way to Salamandastron.
Here's where I run into my realization. Because I already HAVE badger lord, it didn't feel right to make up a new one. But I'd need permission and help to use Ashstripe. Oh, Ash-o, with your roleplay so bright, won't you help make this story right?
Not only Ash, but everybody. If I can incorporate the whole site into this and get everyone together, this story would be so much better than it would be with only me. Also, I've just had an idea, a big one; can I incorporate the Glittering Scabbard ideas we came up with? The two hordes, Tataroo's and I think it was the Redclaws, after Redwall, with a group of beasts staying to defend the Abbey after the treasure hunting group left. And, perhaps, the treasure hunters ended up in a place called Winterwood.
I won't write another word until I get some feedback here. That's a lie, actually, I can just bounce back and forth between my characters until someone pipes up. But that'd be awfully selfish and boring, wouldn't it?
Speak now, or forever be denied trifle.
