Physical Appearance: Tall, even for an otter, a half-head taller than the average sea otter and a full head taller than the average river otter. He has broad shoulders, which he can use to carry a lot of weight. Well-muscled, Eranus has an athletic build, and his strength is nigh unmatched. One of his ears is missing, lost in a battle with a grayling. His teeth are pearly white and glistening, sharp as needles, and he has a dazzling smile. A strangle, wild light gleams in his deep brown eyes, and the secrets within their depths have never been revealed. Encircling his forehead is a black headband adorned with ancient otter runes. Eranus wears a sleeveless blue tunic with dark blue trimmings (mainly to show off his muscular arms), and two blue knotted wristbands. He wears black trousers and a blue tailband around the base of his rudder. On his footpaws are large black leather boots with brass buckles. A black leather belt encircles his waist.
Possessions: Eranus carries a long broadsword in a sheath on his broad back. He also has a small leather pouch of herbs on his belt.
Personality: Jovial, like most otters, Eranus is quick to smile and slow to frown, the perfect example of a fun-loving beast. He laughs frequently at even the slightest joke, and is quite the joker himself, a fan of pranks and insult contests. Energetic and graceful, Eranus is always eager to prove his prowess, often flexing his muscles for females and performing somersaults and other feats for anyone willing to watch. Though serious when needed, he is mostly a grinning, bouncing idiot. Immensely outgoing and talkative, Eranus will often talk to complete strangers, and can go no less than an hour without having a conversation with someone.
Strengths: Eranus is very strong, able to lift boulders with his bare paws and hurl them a considerable distance. A strong swimmer, he is a champion of many contests. Eranus is a formidable swordsbeast, although he is no blademaster yet.
Weaknesses: His reckless style of swordplay often puts himself and his friends in danger. His eccentric and boastful personality often gives off the wrong first impression.
History: Born in a small holt on the coast of Southsward. His father was Skipper of the holt and a valued friend of the King of Southsward, his mother the holt's healer and a kind and gentle soul. When Eranus was six, his holt was attacked by Sea Raiders. He was the only survivor. Taken in by the Squirrelking himself, Eranus was trained as a member of the Otterguard of Southsward. Having grown tired of Castle Floret, Eranus began to make his way north, towards Mossflower...
