Physical Appearance:
Cobar is tall, solid and immensely strong. His fur is light brown, his ears longer then usual and his eyes wide and black. He wears practical clothing, usually in brown or dull green, with a leather belt to hold his weapons and other possessions and a dark brown traveling coat. He has a handsome face only marred by a scar that reaches from his right temple to the right side of his chin.
Possessions
Cobar owns very few possessions. His weapon of choice is his longsword which he inherited from his father. It is old and battered, but still a good blade. He also has three knives of various sizes and a strong sling. His new wife Kadee gave him a wooden carving of swallow which he wears around his neck on black string.
Personality:
Cobar is a hedgehog of few words. He is shy, but caring and helpful where he can be. In all areas other then the battlefield he is extremely clumsy and usually causes more trouble then he prevents. However he is a great warrior and very experienced in battle. He takes care of his sister, Apanie as if he were her father and is very careful not to spoil her. She and his wife Kadee are the most important people in his life.

"Book" smarts (he is a terrible speller and can barely read), clumsiness
History:
Cobar and her family (Father, mother, a brother, Narrah and three sisters, Alkira, Tinka and Apanie) had lived in north Mossflower since Cobar's grandfather came down from the northlands. They had very happy and peaceful lives until slavers passed through five seasons ago. They killed his father and captured his mother, brother and sisters, except for the youngest, Apanie. Cobar, the eldest, fought with them valiantly, but could not free them. Instead he rescued Apanie from the vermin and fled, heading for Redwall Abbey. Once he had delivered her safely there he went after the slavers.
He tracked them for almost a seasons before they reached a vermin stronghold in the cold northlands. The woodlands around it had been emptied of good creatures, who had been enslaved by its ruler. Not trusting himself to sneak in and not attract attention he returned reluctantly to Redwall in search of other warriors who will travel to help him release his family and get revenge.
