Name: Azol Darkpaw
Nicknames/Aliases: Azol
Gender: Male
Age: 38
Species: Badger
Occupation: Traveling warrior
Physical Appearance:
General—A huge and powerful male badger with cold, ice blue eyes. His fur is not like most badgers. His fur is solid acorn brown and his paws are jet-black. Scars trace over his body, on his paws, face, chest, and legs. You can tell he's an experienced fighter just by looking at him. His claws are cream white and deathly sharp, and his teeth are small and jagged. There are two huge fang-like teeth at the front of his mouth that makes him look like a sabre-tooth cat. On his muzzle is a solid stripe of golden fur that reflects light. His nose is dark black and scarred. The badger's back has a huge scratch running from his shoulders to his tailbone, inflicted there in a long ago battle. A tattoo rests on his left paw where the fur has been shaved off, a red and black pike.
Possessions:
Battleaxe-A huge battle-axe, one side has a normal axe blade, on the other side three giant metal spikes each the size of one of the badger's claws and just as sharp.
Personality: He is arrogant and can come off as cruel to goodbeasts even though he is not a threat to them unless he has the Bloodwrath. He can read and even write in badger script and can also read and write normal letters. He goes into insane rages in which the Bloodwrath is so powerful he will even kill goodbeasts, mistaking them for vermin. It is best to leave this badger alone, since he will possibly kill anybeast he sees. He makes vermin's deaths slow and painful as possible, hating them for what they took from him, his mother, father, and brother. He thinks they deserve to suffer. He can see well even in the darkest night which helpes him hunt and kill vermin whenever he wants to.
Strengths:
-Good cook
-Great fighter
Weaknesses:
-Possesses the Bloodwrath infrequently
History/Background: Azol was once the son of a mighty Badger Lord. As he grew older, however, the mountain became two small for a Badger Lord, his son, and a veritible army of hares. Azol was only seventeen when this happened, but still an experienced fighter. He took with him a lone weapon, the last weapon his father had made while Azol was still there, a huge battleaxe on a wooden pole, one side a sharpened and polished blade, on the other three spikes, each as long as a badger's claw and just as sharp, made out of iron and silver.
It was a sad time for Azol Darkpaw, simply because he hadn't wanted to leave his father in the first place. But to fully grown male badgers couldn't live together, he knew, but none the less he wished he was back at Salamandastron mountain more than once or twice.
He journeyed for a long time, across hill and marsh alike, through streams and across fords until he ran into a camp of Juska warriors. He was ambushed by them and taken prisoner, but one night he escaped, and then left, leaving in his wake a camp of dead vermin, about seventy, each Juska body minus a head.
Possessed with the terrible Bloodwrath, the badger plowed on through the scrub and trees alike, across flatlands and woodlands until he became hoplessly lost in the middle of the Mossflower Woods, where the urge to kill and destroy, the Bloodwrath, vanished.
