"Yeah... That make sense..." replied Eris as she stared at the tapestry. She was silent for a long moment as she lowered her gaze. "I... I just don't like talkin' 'bout where I'm from... I don't like it 'cause I can never find the right words ta' say. I always end up scaring everyone away..." She looked away for a moment. "...I guess seasons of solitude will do that to a beast... Be honest... Ya' don't like me very much, do ya'."

Dropping his paw back to his side Will nodded slightly. "Truthfully no, but if you are sorry then thats no excuse for the way I've been acting. Its ok if you don't want to talk about your old life, I don't want to remember that time either. But sometimes its good to just get if off your chest." He said as he looked at the tapestry one last time before turning back to Eris. "Feel better?"

Eris stared at William when she heard what he was saying. "Well... if it makes ya' feel any better... I don't like ya' very much." She was teasing when she said that turning to look at the Warrior. This time, she controlled the impulse to look at his sword. "I guess, I just needed to get it off my chest, sometimes... Yar' right... The past is the past." She seemed alot calmer now, as if nothing had happened. Her paw was wrapped in cloth as she turned her head slightly, with a smile. "I feel much better now... sometimes, all ya' need to do is let out yar' anger once in a while... bottlin' it up ain't always a good plan, eh?"

Smiling slightly Will nodded. "Very true Eris, if you keep letting your anger and past get to you then, well, you know what happens." He said, chuckling slightly. Looking outside as the sun started to sink lower he nodded to Eris. "You've had a long day Eris, I think the best thing for you now is sleep. You can use one of the spare rooms upstairs if you want." Turning on his heel he walked up the stairs toward his room, starting to feel more and more tired...

((That was...The quickest day... I have ever seen...))
Eris nodded after a moment as she turned away. She smiled slightly before looking at William again. "Thank you... But I think I will go to the Infirmary now... Those Nurse maids were so worried about me... I want to make them no longer worried."

(I thought it would help advance the plot, do you want me to change it?)
Nodding and smiling Will walked off toward his room. "Well you look allot better, hopefully you can get out soon for a much needed sleep." Opening his own door he smiled slightly. It was good that he had finally made up with the squirrel. She was allot like him really, a creature with a troubled past and no family left. Setting his sword on the table next to his bed he smiled as he lay down. Hopefully with time Eris could become a member of redwall. Turning over he was soon asleep in his bed, ignorant of the heist that was about to be pulled off....

((True enough... I got no problem... Just it was funny. ;D ))
Eris was walking down the hall, knowing exactly where the sword was going to be. The younglings of the abbey were all in bed as guards were few and merely watching outside the abbey. An hour passed, as everyone seemed to be asleep and not even remotely worried about the she-squirrel that had arrived during the morning. However, they would soon regret that. Do to the Mercenary's dark fur she able to sneak much more easily in the dark. She moved quickly and silently, her eyes focused and narrowed as she ran threw the halls, careful not to make any more of a sound then she had too. Her knife weapon was at her side in case worse came to worse. She had only slept 30 minutes sleeping and the rest of the time planning. Quickly, she found the room of William and opened t quietly, her goldish eyes shinning slightly as she walked silently in.
Do it! I need to grab that sword... Take it...He doesn't deserve it. Her paw went around the blade's hilt as she lifted it slowly. However a glime came to her eyes as she looked at William. Her head began to hurt, this time more painful then before. KILL THE WEAKLING! KILL ALL THAT ARE WEAK! ... But... I don't want to kill him.... KILL because you like it! That is what you are... KILL HIM BECAUSE IT IS FUN! ... Eris... I know you... You don't want to kill him... You don't want to steal the sword of Martin... Put it down and live in peace... Yes, Listen to him, Eris... DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE WEAKLINGS! KILL HIM!!!!
Eris hesitate unable to make a decision as she held the blade in her hands.

William slept peacefully as Eris walked into his room, dreaming about nothing in particular. But his dream suddenly changed, and he was standing in front of the tapestry of Martin the Warrior. Looking up at the fabled mouse he was shocked when Martin turned his head to look at him. "William, my sword is in danger, as are you." William looked up at the warrior, tilting his head on why he would say such a thing, but before he could talk the vision of Martin disappeared. Turning over in his bed so he was facing Eris William mumbled something, but still stayed asleep...for now.

Eris's eyes opened wide as shesaw and heard William move. She held her breath, as if afraid that the slightest sound awaken the sleeping warrior. Her paw was still on the hilt as she lifted it, holding the blade up, aimed at William's chest. Her eyes were fixed on him, as if in a trance like state. DO IT! BY THE WILL OF VULPUZ HIMSELF...DOOOO ITTTT!!!!! Eris merely stared as she lifted the sword up higher, her eyes unblinking as she seemed almost hypnotized as the blade came up, the flames of candle light reflected off the blade. A part of her wanted to kill him for no other reason then she felt like it, another part screamed at her saying no. The blade came down... straight into a stone as Eris shook violantly as she seemed to seizer up. She covered her ears as she held her screams in.
"What did she do this time?" growled a graying red fox with blood read eyes. Eris was younger, and staring at the wall as she had heavy chains around her neck and wrists. Blood was coming from her eyes as she seemed rather cut up. "She attacked a magus... If it were not for the Honor Guard she would have killed him..." "Stubborn...huh..." The magus grabbed Eris's throat so that he could look her in the eyes. It was hard as he seemed to dig his claws in her throat. Instantly the squirrel spat at the magus which caused him to slap her hard. "Level four..." "Four? It may kill her, Magus Seck." "Aaron... Do as I say... You are a high ranked soldier, but you are a squirrel as well... Do not question the orders of a superior." Then the memory seemed to shift as Eris remembers fighting along side Aaron, as if she were a soldier next to him, trainning with him, as if she were a soldier like him.
Eris held her head as she staggered back, leaving the sword as she hit a corner. The moment her back touched the corner she flattened herself against it. She felt the feeling of being unable to breath again as she layed against the ground as she seemed to claw at the ground. Her eyes stared at the sword's reflection of her while the blade itself was stuck between two blocks of stone. Her paw grabbed her knife that was hidden. She looked at the blade and her thoughts raced as she plunged the knife into her own hand. It pain was terrible as she felt the ward drops of blood drip upon the stone. Her face was twisted with anger, frustration and regret as she into her own flesh, crying on the floor of the Warrior's room.

Will was already beginning to wake up as Eris plunged the sword into the stones of the floor. Instantly snapping his eyes open Will looked up as Eris staggered back. Quickly jumping out of bed he grabbed his sword and pulled it almost effortlessly from the rocks. Holding it so the point was at Eris he slowly advanced toward her. But before he could speak she pulled out a dagger and stabbed herself. Will stopped just within sword range and watched her, keeping his blade ready should she try to end his life again. But to his surprise she started crying. Will started to lower his sword then forced himself to bring it up again. But he didn't speak, still trying to understand what had just happened as he looked at her, sword aimed at her throat...

Tears were in Eris's eyes as she looked at William's eyes. She stared at him, fixed on his every move. It was silent, without motion without a single move as tears rolled freely down her face. "..What are you waiting for? KILL ME! Kill me NOW! RIGHT HERE! DO IT!" she screamed at him pushing her throat on the tip, without the strength to push it threw. She stared, her eyes searching his face. Her face was twisted with anger and sadness as she stared at him. "DO IT!" she cryed out. "Do it... da**it... Just do it..." She lowered her head after a moment crying freely. Her hand was bleeding badly when she had stabbed it with a knife. "Don't you get it at all? Don't you understand? Just... Kill me... please...PLEASE.... PLEASSSEEEEEE! I just want the nightmares to end... I want to finally sleep without having to fear... JUST... DA**IT.... STAB ME." It was almost pitiful as she tried to plead to the Warrior to kill her.

Will's expression never changed as he looked at Eris. But once she started to speak his was dumbfounded. She would try to kill him, then what him to kill her. Quickly pulling the blade back when Eris pushed her throat toward it he just stared as she screamed. He wasn't sure what to do...She had threated his life and wanted to die. But he just couldn't bring himself to kill her. Lower his sword until the blade tapped the ground William shook his head. "I can't kill you Eris, no matter how bad you want me to." He said as he brought the sword up again, reversing his hold and striking toward her temple with the pommel of his sword...

The black squirrel merely stared at William as he told her no. She stared at him as if he just shatted her world. The only reason she took on the mission to steal the Sword of Martin was for the fact she would be caught. From all she read about those who stole the sword, they were killed. She knew that it would be the same with her, if she tried. Maybe that was why it was so beautiful for her. She wanted to force him to kill her, force him to end her life. But, he wasn't, he wasn't going to kill her. Her eyes were wide open as she felt a hard hit against her temple. Her bright gold-like eyes opened wide as she stared, slipping into an unconsious state. "Da** you...." she hissed after a moment before hitting the ground her knife landing on the stone floor as her body went limpish as she laid there.
---Time later (Change senerary/time/ ect)--- Why didn't he do it? Why did he refuse to? I would have killed him... yet he doesn't kill me?! What wisdom is that? There lov of life prevents them... I should have know... no matter how much I ask them, they wouldn't... But he knows I tried to kill him, steal the sword, and had a weapon... Will the banish me? Or will they think of something better? Eris felt a cold touch on her again. It was everywhere, making her shake slightly as she wanted to seal herself away and hide. They couldn't understand. No one knows me... I am ashamed... Why do feel ashamed? I don't even know... I am angry at everyone all the time... I can't even go into a place without looking around... I know every exit, I know every place to hide... but most importantly, I know the exact number of males in a place... Why?... I don't know... I just do...Why am I so scared... So alone... so...violated? I don't even remember...So... cold....
Eris remained still as she slowly regained consiousness, not knowing where she was at the moment.

William looked down at the unconscious Eris as he slid his sword into the sheath at his waist. Finally letting out the breath he had been holding he grabbed Eris and dragged her to his bed. Laying her down he went over to a chest by the wall and brought out some rope. Quickly tieing Eris so she couldn't get off the bed he shut the door and locked it, knowing that the early risers would soon be up and about. Picking up her dagger he slid it into the other side of his belt, then pulled up a chair next to the bed. Starring at her unconscious body he waited for her to wake up, then she would have some serious explaining to do....

Her eyes slowly opened as she glanced to where she was. She was about to sit up when she felt something around her. Rope! Fear seemed to seize her immediately as she started to thrash about realizing that she had been tied down. Her mind went blank as as struggled to free herself, screaming as she tried to get free.
"Get this off... Get it off.... Get it off... NOW!" she said with a fear emanating from her voice as she seemed to be not even there. Her voice wasn't the calm, monotoned one but filled with worry, fear and deepness that seemed to be from depth of her throat.
"Stop... PLEASE...." She said with her breath seeming to be hyperventilating. "... PLEASE..." She gave a sharp scream as she began to cry again thrashing about as she was trying to escape some unknown attacker. She screamed as if William was torturing her. Suddenly it stopped as she went lumpish again her eyes opened in a trance like state. Her breath slowed as she didn't seem to acknowledge William's presense. Like a lost child, fear seemed to be all around her as she pushed herself into bed, her claws unsheathed as the scrached at the bedding.
"Eeee-rr-i-ssss... Don't struggle Eris... It will be over quickly..." she said in a cold, dark manner as her eyes didn't move as she seemed to stare at nothing. "...Don't cry... Don't scream... Don't move... that's a good girl... stay still... That's right... don't move... follow what I say and everything will be alright... Do what I tell you... Don't think... just do as I make you do... ssshhhh... no whimpering now... Be....Qu-ie-t...." She seemed to be calm, but it was a strange calm as she didn't even acknowledge William.

William kept his expression blank as Eris thrashed around and screamed. There was now no question that she was crazy, but she had sense enough to get into the abbey and get him to trust her, for a little bit at least. Waiting until she stopped screaming and thrashing he slowly stood up to stand over her. "Eris, look at me." His arms crossed over his chest he looked down at her, his eyes stone like and starring straight through her. "Eris, What were you doing here in this abbey?"

"Hehe... Why are you asking that? Funny words... Your a funny little beast..." she said in a hypnotic way before turning her head to face William. She laughed like it was a joke. She may have sounded insane, but she was crying despite the happy sort of look that was over her face.
"Isn't it obvious? I was here to kill you... and take your pretty little sword. Why? I guess you will have figure that one o-" Eris gasped in pain as she grew angry at being tied down. She bit at the robes trying to free herself as her tears came freely out as well she despritly struggled to free herself.
"Stop holding me here like this...PLEASE... I don't like ropes... I don't like being tied to this... THING..." she hissed angerfilled as she struggled harder. Despite her age she began to cry louder as she saw that she couldn't free herself. Her eyes were irritated as she tried to regain some composer.
"YOU DON'T Understand... I can't tell you... I can't... How can you? YOU ABBEY BEAST WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND! LET ME GO!... STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT! Stop......STOP IT....YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND....You wouldn't...."

Will was surprised when Eris spoke so strangely as to why she was here. Even more surprised when he saw the tears start to fall down her face. He stayed silent as she started thrashing anew, tears still rolling down her face as she screamed at him. He wasn't really sure what to do. The last time he had heard someone like this was in the slave mine when they first arrived, and a quiet talk had helped them. It was the only thing Will could think of right now. "Its alright Eris, nothing is going to hurt you, its just a precaution after what you tried to do. Just take a breath and calm down, nobody's going to hurt you."

"You can't promise that... You can't promise that, Aaron..." she said as she seemed to be playing a memory in her head. She stared at the ceiling as her face had a determination that wasn't there before. The Squirrel turned her head away as she gazed at the sky. Eris wasn't crying or anything as she stared at the clouds floating in the sky. Her amber eyes seemed to soften as it seemed to show a surface beneath the crazied, angry squirrel that had threatened William.
"... You tried your hardest... That's all that mattered. You tired to save me... tried to help me. But you can't... I was marked for this fate... You were marked for greatness... I wasn't as fortaniant as you..." She closed her eyes after a moment before opening them again. She had a stronger look in her eyes.
"You caught me off guard... Lucky you..." she said in a cold manner as she turned to look at William again. "I was paid... alright? I was paid... not everywhere in the world is like here. They require money... Supplies... ect. I needed the money to go and kill a red fox named Zulu... My motives are my own."

William opened his mouth to reply to her, but then stopped when she said the name Aaron. He just sat back and listened as she rambled on again until she looked back at him. "True Eris, not many places are like this, but because of your past you seem to assume that the personalities of the creatures there are here Oswell. "If you would have asked for help you would have received it. But instead you chose to keep to the old instead of embracing the new. Its really a shame that such views of the world can be formed, I might have even helped you bring down this fox." Getting up he walked toward the door, but slow enough so if she had more to say should could say it....
