Yurrtem Darkfur and one of his molefriends, a short, skinny female mole called Dunnum, couldn't sleep the night before so they decided to visit Redwall's kitchens.
Yurrtem looked around for something to eat and drink. He turned around and saw exactly what he wanted, a deeper 'n ever turnip 'n tater 'n beetroot pie, a favorite food among moles. He was about to tell Dunnum about the pie when he heard a loud clang. He froze and made his way to where he saw Dunnum, she too was standing still.
