Laundry [OPEN]

Violet and Brooke were on laundry duty, but there was more splashing than doing laundry.

"Violet stop it!" giggled Brooke.

"Never!" they turned and splashed again.

All of the sudden they turned to the sound of a big splash, the laundry was floating and sinking in the pond.

"Uh, oh."

A certain Pine Marten was coming down to the pond to do laundry. A certain grumpy pine marten. Ash strolled down to the pond, with a basket of his usual clothing underneath his arm, and he saw Violet and Brooke splashing in the pond. "Darn youngsters." He muttered below his breath. "Always making a trou--" He slipped and fell from the wet grass, and fell flat on his back, his laundry scattered all over. "God--" The rest of his words were followed by a loud string of curses, the next one worse then the last. The half blind pine marten growled at the two youngsters, then began to pick up his laundry. "Always making trouble. Stupid brats." He muttered again harshly.

After finally picking up his laundry, he slowly and carefully walked down the rest of the distance to the pond. He picked up one of his shirts and started to clean it off in the pond, "Be carefuly next time." He said sharply to Violet and Brooke. "Brats." He said to himself.
