OOC: OK I'm making this one so that anyone who wants to can wright there own short story like this one. This is not a continues thread you just wright short ones and post them on here. So that you have no obligations. And you don't have to stick with it. I think you can name your own but I'm not sure.
BIC:
It was a bright and sunny morning in mid July, and there was a soft breeze rustling the treetops. A pigeon awoke with a start, as it heard some beast walking through the woods below. It was a large weasel. He had a cutlass at his side and walked with a swagger. He was heading toward a clearing near by. The pigeon flew over to another tree closer to the clearing to see what was going to happen. (The weasels name was Ragtooth!) He reached the clearing and sat down on a tree trunk at the edge of the clearing. There was another beast watching him. An otter strolled out onto the clearing and greeted him.” Hello there, matey, I see you made it on time,” said the otter whose name was Rorgus. “I’m no matey o’ yours, streamdog!” snarled the weasel. “Well now down to business; we come to duel, not to insult.” Said Rorgus they both walked out into the clearing and drew their weapons, Rorgus had twin blades with a simple hand guard. Ragtooth had a cutlass. They began circling each other, crouching slightly. Then Rorgus sprang forward catching Ragtooth off guard. Rorgus brought a chop down with one of his swords and sideways with the other. Ragtooth jumped backwards just in time. Rorgus lunged forward but Ragtooth blocked his blows and started backing away. Rorgus stopped to catch his breath, Ragtooth saw his chance. He ran forward stabbing furiously. Rorgus managed to avoid most of his blows but one of them hit his left arm, he could not use his arm. He tossed away one of his swords and took a stance spreading his legs apart. He grasped sword in his right paw and waited for Ragtooth’s next assault. It came with a series of hard blows, which Rorgus either blocked or dodged. Then seeing his opportunity, he threw his sword as hard as he could at Ragtooth’s undefended side. Ragtooth saw it coming and tried to block but he was not fast enough. It struck true; Ragtooth dropped his sword and fell to the ground dead.
