Well school is finally out for me, for around eight or so weeks. So that means plenty of time for the site and other things right? Wrong.
It means that my shifts at my job triple, it means that I only have one year left to get as much cash as I can before I'm forced to live on my own - I need to get a car and a few other things.
Why is Ash ranting about this stuff? I can't really say, I suppose that I'm cutting my time on this site in half, quarters, eighths, or even retiring entirely. I don't know, I've been here a long time and I think my time is drawing to close here. At least by the end of next year I assume; seeing as I'll be in Uni by then, a wonderful life lies ahead of me there; forty hours a week of study and trying to earn enough to pay the rent on the side, I'm living the student life baby!
Besides, cyclone season is around the corner, so I doubt I'll be able to get on even if I wanted to. Another good few weeks of black-outs, storms and thinking about the meaning of life - aren't the summer holidays a joy? I certainly think so.
That's it in a nutshell, I may be on for the next two days, provided my power doesn't fail. And from there I have no idea. So for the time being, I'm going to implement a few changes.
For a start, Rocky and Grath are taking my place as 'The MAN', their both getting equal Administrator rights and authority, so they may commence keeping everyone down like The Man so often does. From that, garbage day is Tuesday, be sure to keep the species catalogue up to date, Personal Titles, Affiliates, The Ash-Cave, the Admin-Ban-Hammers are on the Shelf, and Sparrow likes his milk warm.
William and Zeffer can keep everyone in check =).
Staff Applications and Probationary Periods are getting an advance, I'm going on whatever opinion among the Staff there already is and if there isn't an opinion, I'll go on mine.
Plot-wise, if I'll try to get on and stuff...The Plot is already going at a reasonably slow pace, so I think I should be able to keep up. For all the threads I'm in; kick me out or put it on hold, your call.
I do hope this is only a temporary thing, but I do think I'm going to be quite lacking in the time department. I won't force myself to retire until the end of next year, by then I won't really have a choice anyway; just a little heads up I suppose.
