Name: Mingol Rocktail (Salt)
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Species: River Rat
Occupation: Warlord
Physical Appearance:
They don't call Mingol Salt Rocktail a warlord for nothing.
The rat was large in size, sinewy, thin, and powerful, and also fierce and intimidating with light gray and chocolate spotted fur, but what could scare an opponent besides his constant cold smile? His neon green eyes; piercing, ruthless, the eyes of a born killer. His long tail was scarred from many battles, his left paw, missing a claw, always rested on the handle of a fire blackened scimitar. The handle was carved in a way that made the top appear to be a snake head, mouth open, fangs sharp, ready to strike. There were rumors about the fierce rat leader they said was stronger, tougher, and smarter than Cluny the Scourge, but one that was obviously fake was also the most popular-that Mingol's blade was made out of the same star metal that was used to create the legendary Martin the Warrior's sword. More nonsense than that was spread around, but the rat leader kept to himself.
He liked to scare beasts that believed in the rumors.
Possessions:
Scimitar-Fire scarred scimitar with a snake head carving on the handle.
Personality:
Mingol is ruthless, commanding his army of about three hundred beasts with a cold vigilance that clearly displays his army to be nothing more than pawns on the playing board. Contrary to the normal vermin, he likes to be out in front while attacking. Intelligent and strong; the description fits his whole army like a glove. They are some of the worst beasts alive; assassins, bounty hunters, thieves, you name it. He only trusts his army. Even if he thinks he can trust an outsider, he kills them anyways. And, like all 'truly evil beasts', he says, he also has a motto that makes his whole army cautious and wary every time he is around them.
'Life is merely a test to see if you live or die.'
Strengths:
-Warrior; Mingol Rocktail is an experienced warrior but he doesn't fight often-his army is strong enough that they are able to take even Long Patrol hares out easily.
Weaknesses:
-Cooking; Doesn't even need to be explained. He burns things a lot. In fact, instead of cooking, he takes food from other beasts in his crew.
-Anger; Yes, Mingol could definatly use a course on anger management. He tends to get fired up quite easily even at the smallest things.
History:
Mingol had quite a normal life during his younger years in a vermin camp. He was taught fighting by Firetail, a silent weasel in his middle seasons who was a serious and deadly warrior. Firetail had trained his future leader well. When Mingol's father, Torak Rocktail, died in battle, Mingol's older brother took over the leadership. During the middle of the night, as his brother slept, the river rat earned the nickname 'Salt' by killing his brother, Rilfg Rocktail, with a pawful of salt and a rock.
He took over the leadership and recruited more beasts, strong, capable, former assassins, bounty hunters, thieves, robbers, and weak beasts who learned the art of fighting by the master himself. He started out with five hundred, but lost many during an attack on a searat. The rest of his army was ever wary of their unpredictable leader.
Soon after, Mingol appointed two guards that he had trained himself; Ice, a cream colored ferret, burly and tough, carrying a stabbing spear, and Makoce, a thin, skinny wood rat with a dirk and a cutlass. They have served the rat leader well and he uses them to scout out areas along with Firetail, the silent weasel, Rivg, an indignant weasel from the Northlands with a broad accent, and Blackfeather, an extremely large and skilled blackbird.
