Ahh, another round. Yes, Ash thinks he finally has it right this time - He has a brilliant idea. Yes he does, contrary to all those sceptical looks he sees amongst his cyber-audience. He's going to cut back on the number of 'just ordinary citizens.'
Citizen
Description: Witches!? Where!? What!? Where is Lord Ashellius!? Running just before the election isn't he? But Mortimer is right in assuming the Mayor's warning is correct - he's been right in the past after all, hasn't he?
Object of the Game: Kill all the Witches/Werewolves, whatever.
Abilities: None!
Witch
Description: Your cover's been blown, you(And your covenant) have managed to stay under the radar for a few years now, taking care in your pickings, satiating your lust for chaos and evil ever so lightly, but Ashellius has his suspicions of your identity and has declared a witch-hunt - remember, your not the only one heading towards the pillory, Ashellius isn't 100% certain and the village isn't 100% honest.
Times a tickin' and the noose is a weavin'.
Object of the Game: Kill anyone and everyone until the number of citizens becomes a 1:1 ratio with your covenant.
Abilities: Once per night phase, your covenant(Or yourself) must agree on one citizen that you will all murder. You can discuss this via PMs.
Greedy Farmer
Description: You've had your eye on a patch of land for a while and the owner of this land is an upstanding member of the community, who wholly owns this property through legal means. They have expressed no interest in selling it off, not for your highest offers or unlimited labour - blast it. This Witchunt is just the excuse you've been looking for to dispose of this inconvenient member.
Oh, and right, the Witch isn't such a great thing either - so you suppose you have to lynch them too.
Object of the Game: Get one citizen lynched(Assigned to you) and get the witch lynched
Abilities: None. Your just a bit more greedier than the average citizen - as of such, someone may just mistake you for the witch at night, when your really outside plotting your rival's demise.
Paranoid Citizen
Description: Witch!? WHAT!? Dear Lord above! This is most serious indeed! It's a good thing you've got all your survival gear prepared and those magical trinkets you bought from a passing friar all installed into your home.
Now it's just a matter of finding and disposing of this witch - but your no fool, your not going to trust the Monk or those silly trinkets entirely, no. Your going to stalk every citizen whenever you can and find out something about them.
Object of the Game: Get the Witch Lynched.
Abilities: Every night phase, you get to stalk one citizen and find out what they did - you won't get an exact answer but an idea of what they did and perhaps even their role.*
You may reference your findings - But doing so will put you up as a considerable target.
Monk
Description: You are a hermit. A loner. You only came to the Village in order to maintain the bare minimum of human contact to maintain your sanity in your pursuit for knowledge and redemption - plus free food and provisions in return for words of wisdom.
The Witch-hunt is the absolute last thing you needed. Meditation isn't going to solve this problem - faith will.
Object of the Game: Get the Witch Lynched - with as few causalities as possible!
Abilities: Every night phase, you may choose one citizen to protect. You will install wards around their household and thus prevent any witches from entering or leaving the household.
Should the citizen actually be a witch - the witch will be forbidden to leave the household; this means there will be no murder overnight, but the covenant will be alerted to your role.*
You may not use your powers to protect yourself.
You may not reveal your role to anyone
*Any tweaks or ideas for these abilities are welcome

Please, make sure you can come on, at least once a week, it isn't fair to the others if we have to wait - after all, someone might want to join in but can't interrupt the current round.
In the interests of time, the game is to be played Out of Character, I'm also interested in seeing how well this works.
The Ground Rules
And other stuff
And other stuff
- Witches win if there is only two people left or the number of witches happen to outnumber the survivors.
- The number of roles can actually grow with the amount of players - perhaps even factions. Time being, it's just the Lawful and the Witches with one extra role. Since we have the bare minimum.
- The Game will take place in Day and Night phases, by day, we all meet in the Town Hall and throw out wild accusations. Make sure you include VOTE, ASHSTRIPE or something similar(I ACCUSE ASHSTRIPE) in large bold letters. That'll make life easier on my part.
- You may only have one vote per round and you may change your votes during the day as many times as you like - do it in a new post instead of modifying a previous one, please.
- By Night, the Witch makes his/her move and kills whomever he/she deems a threat.
The Monk cannot be voted, but he can be killed - he will sway the course of the chaos left and right, so to whoever is the witch; think twice before killing him.
The Monk is now a PC. He is subject to the same effects as everyone else. - Hints are given through PM - whether I did actually send them is up to whether you believe me or not =). As a rule, I always at least send one. You may say "I found a note from Ashellius" or "Ash said that he killed someone and he's scared he'll do it again.". You may reference as much or as little detail from the hints as you like.
E.g
"Ashellius told me that Rocky, 'Retchen and Yves can't be trusted. So I'm voting for Rocky.
I ACCUSE ROCKY." - YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ACCUSE SOMEONE STRAIGHT AWAY. You can wait until the night phase - which will always begin a week later, sooner if everyone casts a vote.
The Roles
Since Ash knows you so well, he knows you more than you know yourself.
