The Bellringer has found a scrap of old cloth in the belltower with curious writing on it. The abbey scholar has decreed that it is most likely from before the time of Cluny the Scourge's attack. There is a riddle inscribed on it, but no one can solve it.

What runs swifter than any wind?
What can never move or play?
Yet it is all of these things, I say!"
Underneath, there is a curious mark:
