"Halloo t'Abbey!" Grath cupped her paws around her mouth and shouted.
"h'Any room fer a rovin' h'otter, mateys?" She leaned on her unstrung bow casually, not really putting her weight on it as she awaited a reply. The young otter had not been to Redwall for some seasons, and she looked forward to the delicious abbey food.

Lady Willow scuttled out of a door, "Hello?" she said shyly. When she saw the otter she bowed, "Hello there, I'm Lady Willow Cresa. Welcome to Redwall! Want me to show you around?" she asked Grath.

Theurl was wandering about the abbey as he usually did. He saw miss Willow calling to someone. He slipped out the door right behind her and climbed up onto her shoulder. "Ello miss Willow. Who's this?"

"Don't know, but she seems familiar with the place," Lady Willow replied pulling him off her shoulder.

((ok, I haven't even posted in response, so how would you know whether or not she was familiar with it?))
"Hello?"
Grath gave the squirrel a friendly grin. "Hallo matey!" She offered her paw, straightening up. "I'm Grath Swiftflight."
"Hello there, I'm Lady Willow Cresa. Welcome to Redwall! Want me to show you around?"
"Oh no, no need t'bother." Grath entered the gate, winking at the mousebabe climbing up the young squirrelmaid. "I'm Grath Swiftflight, young'un, and I know me way around well enough."

Finnbarr watched from some bushes on one side of the path leading to the main gate of the abbey, as an otter, which he presumed was a female approach the main gates of redwall. He'd hear stories of the abbey, but he had never actualy seen the place with his own eyes and it was quite a site, but he was more interested in what was going on at the gate.
After a short time the gate opened and the otter moved through the open gate and without thinking he moved from his hidding place called to the beasts at the gate "Haharrrr, you wouldn't have room for a starving beast, would ya?". He watched their reactions, knowing they might take him for a foe beasts, due to his appearance, but hoped they would see that he was an otter and meant them no harm.

"Haharrrr, you wouldn't have room for a starving beast, would ya?"
Grath turned in the doorway, focusing her gaze on the rough looking otter emerging from the woods.
"Come on in, matey!" She called. "They allus 'ave room at Redwall h'Abbey!" Grath stood in the gateway and unbent her bow as she waited for the sea otter. It took a great amount of strength, but she had it unstrung in no time and the bowstring stowed in her belt. Removing her dagger from her belt, she slotted it into her quiver and slung the quiver over one shoulder.
She knew the abbey dwellers usually asked that weapons be placed in the gatehouse, and wished to be prepared.
