A Did you know game! What did you, or didn’t you, know about our furry, feathery and scaled friends?
Must be a true animal fact, and try to keep it revelent. Otherwise, have fun!
The sea otter has a loose pouch of skin Under each foreleg that extends across the chest. In this pouch (preferentially the left one), the animal stores collected food to bring to the surface?

Did you know?
That most Oak trees are planted by forgetful Squirrels.
Hares can run up to around 75 km/hr(Approximately 49 mph).
A certain species of shrew(Or was that all shrews?) will starve to death if it hasn't eaten in five minutes.
A Great White Shark's skin can actually cut you.
A blind chameleon can still blend into it's surroundings.
That's what I've got on the top of my head.

You can generally tell if a female sea otter has just mated if her nose is wounded. This is because the male has to hold on to it with his teeth during the process.
When a kangaroo is standing, its leg bones are actually in the sitting position of other animals.
In one species of fish, the sheephead, every fish is born a pink female. At a certain age, these females pair off and have a contest to see who can open their mouth wider. The fish whose mouth opens wider gains black coloration at her front and back, leaving a pink stripe in the middle. She also becomes a male.
The Arabian camel has two sets of eyelids; one is clear, so that it can see in sandstorms without being bothered by flying sand.
The most deaths by animal in Africa are caused by hippos. Not lions, hyenas, wildebeest...hippos.

A Wombat's pouch opens backwards; not to mention they are little brick walls of muscle.
Sharks and Crocodiles constantly lose teeth throughout their entire life-time.
If Sharks stop swimming, they die.
A Guinea Pig has four fingers(Or front claws) and three toes. Their pups are born with teeth, fur and can see from the moment their born - walking is another story.
Scorpions actually glow under UV light.
A Koala's vomit is green.
I actually remembered more, heh.

Uhhh...
The longest record for living without a head was a chicken living 18 months. Seriosuly.
There is a microorganisim in the gold mines of Africa that needs radioactivity to surivive. Not kidding.
Cheetah spots are about the size of a human thumb, and solid, unlike leopards or jaguars.
((Oh, and people found a peice of five thousand year-old gum in New Zealand, I think it was. Yeah.
...More later. XD ))

Myth Busters destroy my reality one episode at a time =O.
In Australia, there are frogs that actually swallow as much water as they can during droughts and hide underground. Aboriginals and other Bush travellers actually tap at the ground(Which sounds like rain.) to make the frogs surface and squeeze them for their water.
In South America(I think.) there is a frog that actually freezes itself during the winter and becomes technically dead, after thawing it comes back to life.

There's a fish (also in the Amazon...uh...) that eats from the inside out--he'll worm his way into your belly button and have a feast. Seriosuly.
There's also a beetle that can be frozen solid for months and thaw out.
Oh, an a really small leaf-eating creature called a waterbear that loks kind of like a clear six-legged caterpillar that cna survie over 300 degrees fahrenhite, being frozen, and a bathful of radioactivity for over a hundred years.

More Shark facts!
While in their mother's womb, baby sharks actually eat each other. Giving survival of the fittest a new edge.
Crocodiles haven't evolved since the times of the dinosaurs, that's reptilian perfection right there.
Llamas spit like a fire-hose, I should know, I've annoyed one(Among many other members of the Animal Kingdom.)
