It had been a couple of hours since she had seen Dusk leave to go to the training hall while she was shown around the castle. But at last she had finally gotten rid of the hare and preceded to walk to the training hall where the fox had said he'd be. She only hoped that he was still there and didn't go off somewhere else.
It was obvious that the fox she was sent to get was not here, or so it seemed. It was time to go to plan B. Talia couldn't waist much time with gaining their trust and finding him the old fashion way. Now she'll have to get someone to take her to him.
Once Talia stepped into the training hall, she looked around and called out. "Hello, Anyone here?"

Freya was in the trainning room, striking with a wooden lance at in imaginary foe. She was the de'facto leader of the Freelancer clans in the north. Her messages had been sent to them, calling for them to join the alliance against the empire. The she-fox did a series of strikes before turning to look at the new she-fox that had arrived. Freya had only a breif meeting with Talia, but she knew something was up do to Darkhawk using his falsename rather then his real one. I am not all sure I like this... Talia...Then again... She has done nothing to arose any distrust...
"Ah... Greetings Talia..." said Freya bowing her head slightly with respect. "I guess you are looking for Dusk...He had to leave for a moment... Talking with the Azurrian... one of the only ones here able to speak their language. Uh... He'll be back soon..." Freya stared at Talia for a moment before looking out the window for a moment.
"As you know... my name's Freya... Freya Freeborn...Dusk is my boyfriend...So... Talia... anything you can tell me about your past... if it isn't to much trouble?" Freya felt like she had to show this new she-fox that she should stay away from Darkhawk. |

Talia inwardly sighed. This was not the fox she wanted to see. Actually it was quite the opposite. "Hello to you as well, Freya." She said warmly. "..And yes, I was looking for Dusk. I need to speak to him...about the WARR empire. He seems to know a lot about it." She said, looking out the same window that the other female fox was looking out of, but stood still in her place.
She shrugged. "I was learning to be a healer from my mother then was forced to join the empire. I got caught spying on Rosethorn and his elite guards talking about their plans. I ran away and ended up here." The fox said with a sigh. "...Thats what I need to talk to Dusk about. They're looking for someone and are planning to attack to get him. Something about someone's blood running through him veins. I heard them say that this prophecy fox was here." Talia said. This however was a lie and she knew more about the plan then she let on...but for now, this will do.

Freya opened her eyes wider as she stared outside. Worry could be seen in her face and eyes as she looked at the landscape. "...Blood...Rosethorn...Prophecy....Seems to me you overheard them talking of the prophecy about the 'Dark Child'... about a young fox named Darkhawk... The blood you are refurring to is Vulpuz... The terrible bringer of destruction, and calamity... The empire wants to forfill that prophecy... all it wil do is... no..." Freya took a step away from the window. She had just realize something that Dusk had been hidding all the long.
"No... Those imperial fools...They can't be so blind..." Freya found herself on the edge of tears before forcing herself to calm down. She turned walking off only to see Darkhawk walk in. He paused as Freya came a fraction of an inch from him. He stared at her trying to read her expression. Suddenly Freya hit his shoulder in a defeated and frusterated manner before walking off.
"Freya?..." asked Darkhawk for a moment watching her walk off. He turned noticing Talia.
"You wanted to talk to me privately... what is it, Ms. Talia?" |

Talia watched the other fox. 'Well that wasn't the reaction I wanted...but at least it's amusing. Wonder what I said to make her do that.' The she-fox thought to herself as she continued to watch the other. Her eyes followed as Freya walked to the door..and to Darkhawk. 'Ouch' She thought as Freya hit his shoulder before walking off, not saying anything to him. 'Guess I hit a weak spot in her...and if I did, she must know of who I'm looking for. She does know of the prophecy after all'
She lightly shook her head and nodded at him. "Yes. and please, just call me Talia." She said walking a little closer to him. "I need your help. You seem to know about the empire. Before I..ran away..I over heard them talking about a prophecy and they're going to get some Darkhawk fox to fulfill it. I heard that he was here, but I guess not. Anyway I wanted to warm him so he can leave and not get involved. I know this place where he could have stayed. Do you know him?"

Darkhawk was silent as he listened to what Talia said. He thought for a moment. Should I tell her? Hummm....
"Darkhawk... He's Rosethorn's kid... I heard that he was killed in combat against the Empire way back during the seige with Nova... Then again, those two seem to have a neck to getting back up after death... I wouldn't try to seek him out... I have heard rumors that he is hidding in Redwall... they are rumors... and I personally don't believe them... If is to warn him about the prophecy... he already knows." replied Darkhawk as he looked at Talia, glancing away to look at Freya as she walked away, showing the mark on his neck that was the same symbol as what Rosethorn had on his neck. |

'Now we're getting somewhere...but why would they send me here if rumors say he's at Redwall? I know you're hiding something from me. You know who I'm looking for, therefor you know where he is and sooner or later I'll find him.' Talia thought as she looked at the fox in-front of her. Her eyes narrowed when she had seen the same make on his neck as the one on Rosethorn's neck. That was interesting. She now knew that he was indeed hiding something.
She thought for a moment about what to say next. "...That mark. Rosethorn has the same one." She knew the mark was reserved for the important ones. She hadn't seen any of Rosethorn's family before, so she assumed it was for the special elite, ones who he could trust because this was the first one she had seen that wasn't on Rosethorn himself. "I know you have probable cause not to trust me...but I'm trying to help. If you know where he is, others do as well...I...I'm scared."

Darkhawk was moved by the words as he looked at Talia. She seemed to be sencere about what she said that it seemed to get Darkhawk in the chest slightly. I guess I am to cautious... She hasn't done anything more then I have to warrent distrust...
"The mark is a symbol of the Overlord Family... Given to th next in line with the Vulpuz Blood... I'm sorry that I had to lie to you... but I was unsure of your intentions... My name... is Darkhawk Shatteredheart, son of Rosethorn, banished heir to the WARR Throne..." said Darkhawk looking at Talia. |

Talia's eyes widened, she almost coughed on the air she had just inhaled. It surprised her that she was talking to the one she was looking for all this time, but now that she knew, it seemed so obvious.
She smiled a little and nodded. "Then they were right about you being here and they will come to get you...to get both of us..." She said and paused.
Now this would be the hard part. To convince him to leave with her. "...Everyone here is in danger...because of us. They chased me here, they know where I am and once they connect the dots, they'll know we're in the same place." The female fox stopped and looked away for a moment. "...Come with me. I know of a safe place where we can both go without putting anyone else in danger of getting hurt..or worse." She said as she shed fake tears, making her voice a bit shaky as if she was really frightened

"There is no where that is safe for me..." replied Darkhawk as he looked down. A sudden thought passed his mind as he thought of his girlfriend. He knew that he endangered her, all of his friend by remaining here, avoiding his destiny.
"...Not for anyone... I can't protect them..." muttered Darkhawk as he looked back at Talia. "... I can't leave before my father is stopped... I will have to stop him. Talia... you show how cruel Rosethorn is... he will burn this place down, even If we are not here...I can't abandoned her... again..." |

She inwardly sighed. Talia just stood there for a moment, thinking of what to do now.
She shook her head. "He won't. He's only interested in this place because you're here. If the hares let them search the place and they can't find you, I don't believe he'll burn the place. However, just take some creatures to be enslaved or something. It's better to let them get enslaved then to burn along with their home. At least if they were enslaved, we can rescue them later." She said and took a step closer to him. "...I'm not entirely sure what's going on...but what I do know is that is better for everyone if we leave. If they find either one of us here, they'll kill everyone for trying to help us...." Talia said sadly.
She turned to leave but before walking out the door, she turned back to him. "I'm leaving the morning after the full moon, a few days...if you care to join me. And I hope you do..." She night as well do a full report and tell them that she got what she was looking for.

"It surprises me that you were once apart of the army... yet you seem to not be able to comprehend the cruelty of Rosethorn... He will kill them... Or use me to do it....What exactly do you know about he prophecy that Rosethorn said?" asked Darkhawk as he looked over to Talia. He leaned against the door frame as he looked at the she-fox. |

Talia bit her lip. This was not going very well or according to her plan. "..I...Well...I don't know very much. Just that they are looking for you." She paused looking back at the fox. "...Actually...he had ordered me to find you and bring you to him, but he refused to tell me why, so I decided to find the answer by myself....and I got caught spying. I told him I wouldn't do it, and he order his guards to...punish...me. So I ran..." She said, hoping her lie would get him to go with her. "I do believe we can save everyone's lives if we leave. Everyone has been so nice to me, I owe it to them."

Darkhawk stared at Talia. "Did Rosethorn say that I would destroy everything? Burn it to te ground and purge the world of beings like you? Un-pure, that had no blood to the Great Sephron Line?" hissed Darkhawk in a way that was reminiscent to the wat Rosethorn would speak his words. Darkhawk laughed uneasily as he walked away from the wall to the window looking outside.
"Did he say, I would become the Scourge of this world... The Hellbringer? The Harbinger of Hellgates..." Darkhawk took a deep breath as he crouched down, putting his had on the window frame.
"Talia... I can't expect you or anyone to understand... I don't want to be what I am destint to be... You get it? I don't want to bring suffering... Pain...misery.... I don't want to kill you, or them, or anyone. I don't want to be like Vulpuz..." |

Talia rolled her eyes. 'Lies...All lies' She thought as Darkhawk spoke to her about killing anyone and everyone.
"Then the only way to keep them away from you is to get you away from here where you're out in the open. You need...we need to go into hiding until they are stopped. If they find us...I'm dead and they'll use you and kill you. You stay here and they'll used your friends against you, saying that everyone here will be safe if you go with them and do what they say. I don't know you that much...but I know you care for your friends...for Freya and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe...even if the only choice you have is to go with Rosethorn." She said. Darkhawk was certainly giving her a run for her money.
"Leaving is the only choice....or the only choice that makes sense to me."

"I have consitered it..." replied Darkhawk honestly as he watched the horizan. He looked down for a moment. "...I want to keep them safe... but what if my father finds me... he will use me as a weapon... I don't want the destiny that my father has forced on me. It hurts. If you could see what he was capible of... all that he was... you would be able to see what I can... How could I abandon them like that?" |

"I know a safe place for both of us. He can't find us there. It's in the middle of no where....under ground. We'll be safe there, and everyone will be safe here." Talia said watching the fox that she was sent to get. "It's not exactly abandoning them...You'll be saving them...It's more like a adventure, you'll be coming back after all...once this is all over."

Talia shrugged. "IF he finds us...we'll kill him. The only way he'll find us is by chance and if that happens, we'll be ready." She said as she watched him. She was slowly getting him to change his mind about staying and go with her.
"In a word...crule. But if you do what he says, and stay on his good side...if he has one...you'll be fine. Most of my tasks were pretty easy to do when I was there. Cleaning up the mess most of the time...getting rid of bodies." She paused for a moment, giving Darkhawk time to take in what she had said. "So will you come with me?"

Foolish, that's all I can say about those fools... Last thing I want to see is a fight that I know they can't win..." Darkhawk sighed, unknowing that he had just given vital intell about the plans of the alliance against the empire.
