Talia nodded, as she listened and watched Darkhawk. So he was familiar with the empire, however, she wondered what had happened to make him leave. She smiled sweetly back at him. For him to be telling this stuff to her means that his suspicion about her is down and that he trusts her more then he did when they first met.
She nodded and looked down. "I know. I learned the hard way with my mother and brother that it's their way or no way." She said, not really believing Darkhawk's 'lies'.
Talia looked up at Darkhawk "..I'm happy that I'm not the only one to escape the empire." She said and smiled flirtatiously.

A few minutes passed in silence in the kitchens, the cooks were fighting a battle they couldn't win and took the next best option; to surrender. Surrendering being to stay well clear away from Breeze and his devices, who knew what laws of nature and food preparation Breeze would break this time? He would run out of laws before he would run out of ideas.
He emerged quickly from the kitchens, practically bouncing while he carried his favorite bronze cauldron; which was, funnily enough very similar to what one would expect to find with the witches of folk lore. His 'stew' bubbled and frothed, a vast assortment of ingredients lay within, either dissolved or still within the depths of the defiled water. But for once, despite it's appalling appearance the smell wasn't as bad as it usually was; it smelt almost...edible.

Darkhawk was silent for a long moment. He glanced away for a long moment thinking quietly to himself. He didn't seem to pick up on Talia's flirtatious gesture. It seemed, in fact to drift in his thoughts, thinking about Freya, about his mother, even slightly about Daeton. His eyes were looking down, and were slightly dull as he sat. Jumping slightly, he turned to look at Breeze, seeing the hare come out. "Is that food?"

Talia watched Darkhawk. He seemed for too distant and not like the other beasts around the castle. That just added to the mysterious factor about him and she hated that...to not be able to tell whats going on and what they are thinking about. To her, Dusk seemed out of place at Salamandastron. "...Is there any other foxes, besides us?" She asked him.
Talia turned as Breeze returned to them with a pot of....something... She smiled, and held in a laugh at Darkhawk's question to Breeze. It did smell rather odd, but no matter. She had to make a good impression and if that meant eating whatever stew was in the pot the so be it.

Darkhawk's eyes twiched slightly when he heard the question. He turned back to Talia and nodded. "Ya... My friend is here...Her name is Freya. Besides that, no...It has been only us two here in Salamanstrom...At least last I checked." Replied Dusk as he smiled as if the thought didn't bother him. "Of course, I would like it better if some of my old friends were here...Hehe...When I was apart of the guard I had a lot of friends! Lots..." Darkhawk remembered Daeton to be quiet a flirt, a lot of the time, he would talk to Darkhawk about how it was like in the guard and how everyone in the Serapth Guard were his friends and probably even how half the army was as well, as well to the extent of being confident in saying that Rosethorn was friends with him.

Breeze grinned, what kind of question was that! Of course it was food! "Course ol' boy! Ol' Breezers' said 'e'd make y'some supper and make 'e did wot!" He proclaimed loudly, oblivious to the mass cringing and wincing that echoed throughout the Mess Hall. He slowly lowered the cauldron, caring not to spill it's precious contents. He then gripped the ladle that he had placed between his paw and cauldron and dived it deeply within the broth.
He pulled it up quickly, he was eager to review his creation and had found himself a hefty portion of the discoloured deep ale brown brew. Who knows? He may have stumbled upon a recipe for a new drink and not a stew! Raising the ladle and it's contents to his lips, he sipped it elegantly. His reaction was the same as always, a grand show of smacking his lips and offering those around him a bowl.
"Oh aye ol' Sunset, two's th' crew so far eh? Wot?" He chuckled and grabbed a bowl, slopping the stew in briskly, which now looked somewhat appealing, it was as it's name suggested, a stew; nothing more, just plain soup. "Care fer' a bowl m'gel?" He grinned his most winning smile, at least what he considered to be his best. In the eyes of everyone else it was the calm before the storm.

Talia looked over at the cauldron that breeze held in his hands and bit her lip as Darkhawk ask such a question as that. What has she gotten herself into. From his question to Breeze, she figured that Breeze wasn't the best cook around. She watched the hare scoop some up in the ladle and taste it. The hare seemed to think it tasted OK.
She nodded "Yes, please." She said, lifting her journal up and putting it away to make room for her bowl of stew. She smiled up at Breeze, thinking about Darkhawk's answer. If there were only two foxes who have been living here, maybe the one she was looking for wasn't here, maybe even dead. She would have to put that in her report then maybe Rosethorn would give her an answer on what to do now. If she couldn't figure out how to get who she was looking for, she would have failed the mission. She'd have to get to know these two more, so they will be able to trust her and then perhaps she would get her answer.
Talia looked over at the only male fox around and smiled at him, the same way she did before. If one of them were to notice her actions toward Darkhawk, it may get them talking about her the way she wanted them to.

Darkhawk sniffed cautiously the cauldron filled with 'food'. After a moment he held up a bowl. "I can eat anything...As long as it isn't rotten WARR rations, I'm good...I doubt this stuff can be bad...at least too bad." said Darkhawk smiling slightly as he took the ladle and put some of the contents of the cauldron into his bowl. He glanced to his side for a moment noticing slightly that Talia was smiling at him. He blinked one before looking away, completely moving away from Daeton's personality. What are you doing you idiot...You're supposed to be acting like Daeton...So act like it. Darkhawk turned back smiling happily, slightly having a laugh in the depths of his throat, and his eyes closed for a moment before looking at his bowl filled with 'stew'. It looked like food, and to an extent smelt the same way. But it looked like Breeze had added to much water do to its resemblments to soup or a drink of some sort. After a moment Darkhawk looked at Breeze. "...How long have you been a cook?"

Talia giggled at Darkhawk's little joke about Breeze's cooking. "don't remind me of that horrible food back there." She said, watching him and looking at the stew that he had poured into his bowl.
She got up and poured herself some of the contents from the cauldron and sat back down, thinking. Dusk didn't seem interested in her, maybe she should switch her game plan. Talia had somewhat of an idea in her head, but she'd need to get Darkhawk alone to do it. There wasn't much she could do right now except eat and be pleasant, waiting for someone to give her the information she needed.
Talia smiled as she picked up a spoon and dipped it in the stew and sipped it. Hmm...not bad...could use some spices and seasoning, but all together, not bad. She thought. "It's marvelous." She said to Breeze. "I bet you have been cooking for a while."

Darkhawk glanced at Talia noticing that she was eating Breeze's 'stew'. He looked back at his meal and timidly took some of the containts. He half drank, half chewed the contants. It wasn't very bad...not to good, but not bad. Darkhawk had eaten much worse things. After a moment he smiled looking at Breeze. "It's better then most of the thing's that I eat...Thank you Breeze...I didn't mean anything I said earlier." said Darkhawk smiling, which was probably an odd sight do to the fact, Darkhawk rarely ever smiled.

Breeze's face went through quite a few of his many emotions, at first he was as shocked as everyone else; it was only once in a blue moon that had he created something worth eating and it was even rarer so if someone had willingly tried it. His face then crinkled up into a broad smile, filled with delight. "Course I've been cookin' a while doncha know?" His joy barely contained. It took every fiber in his conscious mind to restrain himself from proclaiming that, against everyone else's perceptions he had succeeded in creating something edible. He snickered in the back of his mind, he was going to milk this for all it was worth, brag until there was nothing left to boast about and then continue from square one. Oh what joy.
His ears immediately straightened and he snapped himself out of that train of thought, "Don't worry y'head on it wot! 'elp yer'selves eh? A whole flippin' cauldron full wot wot.." He grinned slyly and grimaced at his fellow hares, his face screaming his boasts loudly Y'hear that!? Marvelous she said! And 'e thanked me!

Talia giggled as Breeze rambled on about the stew he had made. She leaned over to Darkhawk "...Does he always do this?" She asked quietly, clearly entertained by all this.
She ate her stew as she looked around. Talia was at a cross road when it came to her mission that Rosethorn had given to her. She wondered what would happen if she quit and went back, empty handed. It appeared that the fox she was looking for is not here, so there is no real reason for her to stay...But she decided to try her new plan out before she left. Maybe she could find some information that she needed.

"...Yes..." whispered Darkhawk to Talia as he half drank, half chewed the 'stew'. He was quiet for a long moment before glancing over to Talia. Staring for a moment, he took a deep breath before asking her something. "...Talia...What would you do, if you knew that you were destant to do terrible things, unforgivible things?" asked Dusk staring at the she-fox.

Breeze gave another reckless smile at some of the remarks that one of his ears had managed to catch, the other focusing somewhat on the conversation between Talia and Darkhawk he wasn't quite sure what was said, but it probably didn't matter. He mused as he held a good humored laugh inside at the thought of the subject being him. As experience had eventually taught him after much effort and repeated emphasis, not everything can be multi-tasked, eating or more accurately, scoffing is one of those things.
His jaws worked like a machine, quickly making short work of anything that was solid within his creation allowed the warm solution to slide down his mouth and into his throat. Taking huge gulping slurps only breathing when completely necessary not to mention vital, truly a glutton amongst gluttons.

Talia looked at Dusk and smiled a little. This was the first time that he was actually speaking to her, and even asking for her opinion on something. She tried to look as serious as she could, without giving a giggle or a laugh at what saying or doing.
She thought about his question for a moment. "Try to fight it, I guess. Fight for what you believe is right. I never did believe running away from a problem solved anything, it'll just keep getting worse until you can't take it anymore and are tired of running then you stand and fight." Talia responded, hoping her answer was suitable for him. "You can either fight, or accept it...whatever it is." She added then smiled at him. "I hope I helped."
Maybe she wouldn't have to go to Plan B after all....

Darkhawk smiled slightly after hearing Talia's respose. "Thank you..It means a lot." Darkhawk said with a happy look on his face. He glanced over to the far side of the room to see Freya come walking in. A feeling of dread and surprise came over him. "Freya!" said Darkhawk as he moved over to her. She jumped in surprise, a ghost from her past seemed to appear to her for a moment. She was surprised for a moment. "Dar..." she was about to ask in a puzzeled manner. "Freya, we seem to have picked up an ally...formerly from the empire..." "A WARR Beast?!" Freya said in shock and almost in horror. "...Friend...this is Freya!" Darkhawk said in an almost happy tone that was completely surprising to Freya who looked confused as if she had never seen this side of Darkhawk.

Talia looked over to where Dusk was looking and saw the other female fox. 'ahh...that must be the one he was talking about.' She thought, watching him get up and walk over to her. She grinned "..Now, this could get interseting.." She said softly to herself.
She smiled as Darkhawk brought Freya over. "Hello, Freya...is it? I'm Talia." She said, smiling at how happy Darkhawk seemed.
Darkhawk seemed to be very good friends with this Freya character, witch meant her mission just got a little harder. Talia sighed inwardly. She thought of way to get around this while presenting a happy personality

Breeze nearly somehow choked on his stew as he heard Darkhawk's greeting and what shocked him further was how his tone had reached a higher level, very similar to the hares but still shocking coming out of Darkhawk's mouth. "Erm..Yes.." He banged his chest heavily and felt relief as the blockage passed. He rose and decided to join the little jubilation, after all, he always had to be the centre of attention; for what reasons he would care about later.
He clasped a paw on Talia's shoulder and shook her slightly as a sign of good intention, "Ah yes! Y'must meet this miss! She's got taste doncha know?" He grinned again, the initial confusion had past and Breeze quickly adapted to the situation, after all he was curious to see if Darkhawk was pretending or was genuinely in a good mood...Or rather an abnormal mood that Breeze had yet to see.

Freya was quiet for a long moment, confuse by Darkhawk's seeming unsual behavior. She looked at Talia for a moment as she nodded, bowig slightly with respect. "Pleasure to meet you, Talia. I do hope that..." Freya stared at Darkhawk for a moment, noticing a small action as he rubbed the Azurrian Medallion around his neck. "...That Dusk hasn't been...uh...well trying anything..." Freya turned to look at Talia after pausing for moments. Darkhawk smiled as he nodded, happy to see that his slight signals had gotten threw. He glanced to Breeze turning his head for a moment, as if puzzuled, with a smile still on his face. "Is there something wrong, Breeze? Sounded like you nearly choked there..."

Talia smiled as Breeze lightly shook her. “..Or no taste at all” She said, jokingly and giggled at her jab at Breeze.
She shook her head “Not at all. All Breeze and Dusk were to me was being nice and friendly.” She said with half a smile. She then opened her journal and wrote a note in it. Looking up at Breeze. “Yes, are you OK?” she asked and ripped out the page in her journal and folded it then preceded to close it and put it back away.
“This place looks really nice. Maybe you could give me a tour, Breeze?” She said looking around the Mess Hall then at breeze, wanting to know what his answer was.
