Physical Appearance:

General--
Euan is a sinewy built young otter, with a handsome reddish-brown coat and a tawny underbelly. He stands at an average height, though he is leaner than most of his species.

Attire--
Euan wears only a forest green tunic and a tan woven belt. In his left ear resides a single silver earring, taken from a slain water rat he found in his travels.

Possessions:

With him, Euan has a quiver filled with stone-tipped arrows and gull feather fletching. On this quiver, an extra pocket has been sewn on, in which he carries his foodstuffs. On his shoulder are slung two things: a hollow gourd with a cork stopper for traveling water, and his trusted yew-wood long bow. At his side in a sheath, he also carries a small gem encrusted dirk, taken from his father.

Personality:

Euan is a quite friendly and outgoing otter, though sometimes prone to outbursts of cheekiness. Never shy to adventures (especially those involving immense danger), he will risk life and limb, for the simple pleasure of being able to say “I did”.

History/Background:

In the far Northwest resides a small pirate-fighting otter clan from which Euan was raised as a kit. His mother, Kallen Swift water, was said to be a descendant of Keyla, ex-slave of Marshank, though there are no family heirlooms or recordings to prove it. Euan’s father Darroch Swift water, lived as elected leader of the clan. Much of Euan’s young life was filled with hard seasons, and angry memories. Darroch rarely trusted any form of responsibility into his son’s hands, though when he did, he crushed the young otter’s confidence with his harsh words. One particular spring, when Euan was somewhere between kit and adult, the clan found themselves facing a formidable enemy by the name of Captain Ecrats. Euan, determined to prove himself to his father by bringing him the head of Ecrats, took Darroch’s jeweled dirk and stole away into the night. Unfortunately, Euan’s poor navigation skills left him wandering the land alone. Though he had long given up any hopes of returning home and proving his worth to his father, the decided to take up exploring, and has done so ever since. He now wanders from mountain to wood, dune to stream in pursuit of great adventures, good company, and the best bowl of shrimp and hotroot soup in the land.
