Occupation: Best Mate to Skipper of Sea Otters
Physical Appearance: Blade wears the usual attire of Irvine's holt in which he restricts himself to black, Believing that black hides most features in the night. During the day it is also used as a type of camouflage against the trees and bushes which they would rarely see being a sea otter. His fur is a darker brown color due to the sea spray filling his fur with all kinds of minerals and such for good fur growth. He is quite cut for an otter, however climbing the mast of the Lancebreaker multiple times a day does help. He has brown eyes and sharp claws. He is more of a distance fighter so he doesnt have very many scars as Irvine does.
Possessions: He carries a haversack with him as does everybeast in Irvine's Holt, filled with the essentials such as a knife, fork, sthingy, a tin cup, Habberath Reddust, a small bottle with the brownish liquid to ease the pain of the reddust, etc.
He carries with him a Shortbow, a sling, and a Javalin for combat use.
Personality: Blade tends to handle things a bit easier than Irvine does. Instead of acting on impulse like Irvine he tends to think of the best way to avoid combat rather than amusing himself at the bloodrush of it. He he kind to most everybeast, even Vermin, but if one threaten the life of another only then will he put another in thier place. He is not easily irritated but when he is nobeast should tangle with him.
Strengths:His aim with his bow and sling is precise and is able to use almost anything (or anybeast) as a projectile. His negotiating skills are very good compared to Irvine's in which the other would most likely end up dead. When he is irritated is when his physical strenght is at its peak.
Weaknesses:His kindness and sympathy towards other can sometimes can sometimes blind him of someones true motives. He is not a very good close combat fighter and does not hold well in close encounters with a blade. He is also not the best night fighter.
History: Like most in Irvine's Holt, his past is dark. Once captured as a dibbun during a land raid, Blade became a slave onboard a searat, slave, ship as a cook. During the time he was there he had plenty of time to practice his skill with throwing projectiles when the slavers were not watching. During a slave slave trade years later, Irvine's ship the Lancebreaker, took control of the slaver's vessel rescuing most on board. Once on land Blade decided to stay with Skippers holt as he had nothing else to go back to.
Blade seems to know more about Irvine than any other beast does. He chooses not to tell anybeast as it may cuase them to think dramatically different of him.
