Species:Red Fox (Half Azurrian; Half Sephron)

Physical Appearance: Darkhawk is a leaned built former Freelander Mercenary. He stands about the human equivalent of 5' 10", and has short red fur. His eyes are normally a brown color, however changes when in a fight to a blood red. He has burned marks all over his face, back, and arms that are from his former affiliation with the Vermin Empire Horde, WARR. He wears black clothing, with a steel paldron over his right shoulder. He wears black leather gloves over his hand with steel tipped knuckles. His face is stern looking, and even grim.

Personality: Darkhawk can best be described as quiet and withdrawn, and normally remains silent. He is dark, to say the least, and quite grim about life. He, however, posses qualities of being kind, and concerned about the lives of those around him. He is unflinchingly loyal to his friends, willing to die to protect them. Also, Darkhawk is also depressed about losing many of those who are close to him, such as his mother, brother, best friend (Daeton), and several others that gave their lives to protect him.

Weapons and Personal Items: Darkhawk carries with him at all times a knife, as well as twin duel swords that he forged from black steel in the country of New Azurria, between the Second WARR attack on the Abbey and the Grand Campaign. He also owns a two-handed sword on his back. Around his neck is a medallion that is the symbol of his former affiliation to the Freelancers. On his ears are ear-pieces that represent his affiliation to the New Azurrian Order, a large coalition of Nations that have tried to resist the WARR Empire and its march to dominance over the world under the ideology of Vulpuz, the great guardian of Hellgates. Lastly is a ring that Darkhawk never wears, which represent his former birth as a heir to the WARR Empire thrown, as well as being a descendant of the Overlord line, or Vulpuz's line.

Job: Darkhawk is a banished Heir to the WARR Imperial throne. However, now Darkhawk is one of the defenders of the Abbey, and ultimately, a defender for all of Mossflower against the fanatical WARR Empire.

Weaknesses/Strengths: Darkhawk is quick tempered when it comes to his family history. This leads him to react with little or no thought which is also do to the fact that he is half Irean. This means that Darkhawk easily succumb to rage, anger, and frustration, as well as has very powerful strength in fighting skills and abilities. He also is very loyal, allowing for him to make friends, even if he doesn't call them that.

History: DarkHawk is a red fox, a notable race that appears in Redwall as a constant enemy or evil vermin. However, like several characters, Darkhawk is a good-beast that struggles with his race's destiny of killing and destroying, as well as his past family life. He can be described as depressed and reclusive. He was born the heir to the world empire of WARR (even though technically, WARR doesn't control the entire world.) His father is known as Rosethorn Shatteredheart, Overlord of the WARR empire and a descendant of the Irean Ruler known as Vulpuz. His mother is known as Maria, the last full blooded Ancient Azurrian. His brother is Hector, who later becomes the leader of one of the WARR Armies. Darkhawk was prophecies by his mother, who had the ability to see the future(Seer), to defeat WARR and bring freedom to those enslaved by it. Rosethorn knew the destiny of Darkhawk to defeat him, but was unable to kill him because of Maria's constant interference. Instead, he beat his son every chance he could, as well as mentally abused him. When Rosethorn final lost his temper and nearly killed his son, and Maria, the seer ran from WARR with Darkhawk and ran to the Northern Mountains to the tribal race called the Freelancers.

Freya was the daughter of the Freelancer's chieftain. She was the best lance fighter and the leader of her own personal soldiers. She is the one who found Maria, Darkhawk and Daeton and took them to her father to decide there fate. Before her father decided what to do with the newcomers, she convinced him to allow them to live after seeing Maria's son in the state he was in. She developed a close relationship with Darkhawk, and tried to help him through the pain he felt from being a subject of torture for so many years. They spent many nights together, talking and dreaming about the future of the world. She is the first other relationship he had ever had with someone else. However, days turned dark as the WARR empire marched throw the Northern Territory and started to enslave the Freelancer tribes. Days before The last Freelancer village was conquered, Darkhawk lost both his mother, and his closest friend Freya. (though she really was thought to be dead but really she survived, saved by Daeton.)

After the Freelancers were conquered WARR started its march toward Redwall. The WARR army was 10 thousand strong, as well as the reinforcing Freelancers of 5 thousand strong. Redwall was vastly out-numbered. However, when Rosethorn learned that his son, Darkhawk was captain of the Freelancers, he turned his army to fight them. The vermin were vastly larger but the Freelancers were trained elite. The fighting between WARR and the forces of Freelancers lasted several hours until the Freelancers were victorious, when Darkhawk killed his own father. Darkhawk was the only Freelancer surviver from the battle, as the WARR empire had 10, including his brother Hector, who had a wife that gave birth to Redfur. Completely broken from having to do the task of killing his own father, he blocked out the memory of what he did and lived alone in the woodlands.

---During LORA---
Two months after the failed first siege of the WARR Empire, Darkhawk had lived in relative succlution from the rest of the world, living in the more dangerous parts of the land of Mossflower. However, his world was completely flipped upside down when he met the brave, and courages squirrel warrior, Faith Nettlebush. Though his relationship with another beast didn't start off well, after a quick fight, it was learned that Darkhawk had no intentions to fight with the squirrel. After about a week of travelling together, Faith and Darkhawk became friends as the made their journey to the Good-beast sanctuary, Redwall Abbey. Do to his mind supressing his memories of the abbey, and the fact that no one reconized him, Darkhawk managed to adapted to his new life. However, Darkhawk could feel the tension of the air do to his infamous race title as traitorous. And the War with Raven, didn't help that at all. However, as the war pressed on, Darkhawk started to regain his suppressed memories of what happened 2 years(season?) ago, and slowly remembered the troma of killing his own father, watching all those he cared about die, or leave him. After remembering it, Darkhawk temperarly left the abbey, an attempt to escape his returning memories.
After a few weeks, and fighting alone against Raven's soldiers and getting capture, then escaping, Darkhawk returned to the abbey after the war. He then joined a convoy that headed towards Salamanstrom to join the Badger Lord Ashstripe for a few months. War soon erupted over the land of Salamanstrom with the rise of the Warlord Hector Steelclaw, Overlord of the WARR Empire. With the valiant effort of the Salamanstrom Hares, WARR was defeated and the Warlord, and brother Hector was killed. However, Nova, the Magus of the Invasion took command and marched the army on to Redwall Abbey. Within weeks, the War ended, as Nova was destroyed with the combined efforts of the free kingdoms all across the country and nearby territories.

Now comes the final campaign, WARR's Armies march mercilously upon the country, and with the last remaining free people united to fight the Evil empire, and destroy the Overlord Rosethorn and the Maguses, the climatic battle is soon going to erupt...
