Physical Appearance: Liulfr has glossy, jet-black feathers and an orange beak. His talons are more than enough weapons for him, sharp and strong, but he usually carries a mace and chain around in his beak, but the spikes are bent and scratched from seasons of use. He has a small sliver of white on his chest, but it is covered by a coat of light armor, and beady black eyes, full of rage at times, other times relaxed. He wears a helmet as well, but you can still see his eyes from it. There is a huge gash across his chest as well.
Possessions:
Mace and Chain- Heavy metal mace and chain with broken spikes all over from seasons of use, and a fairly rusty chain.
Personality: Liuflr is a cruel vermin, ill-tempered and solitary. He sometimes makes bad mistakes that lead to him being injured or almost killed by creatures he could easily kill on his own if he concentrated on defeating them. He can't read or write, and he cannot use any weapons besides his mace and chain. But he usually uses his beak or talons in fights.
Strengths:
-great fighter with his talons. That is pretty much his main weapon, and that's why he needs to be good at using them.
-can use a mace and chain fairly well, which helps him defeat creatures.
Weaknesses:
-can't use any weapons besides a mace and chain. Some creatures need different tatctics to be killed by Liulfr. he does the best with what he has.
-over confident, may lose a fight by getting like that. He can defeat them, its just that he believes he is the best at fighting. That has stopped him many a time from beating creatures in battle quickly.
History: Liulfr Blackfeather has been living in Mossflower Woods since he can remember. Born as a member of a tribe of backbirds and crows, he fought his way to a captain of the army. His father, Razko Blackfeather, was the leader, and loved his son. Liulfr was a traitor, though, and killed his father in his sleep. He never knew who his mother was.
He was the new king of the army now, but they attacked Redwall Abbey in bygone seasons and the whole army was killed except for three, him and two others, who fled. The two others were killed a few days afterward by three stoats. Liulfr hunted the stoats down and murdered every one of them, but made them suffer.
Not knowing what to do with himself, he flew across the western sea and came back many months later with the carcass of a dead wolf in his claws. Everybeast who met him assumed he flew to the land of ice and killed it in a battle, because Liulfr had a huge gash across his chest, presumably put there by the wolf's claws in the battle, and a necklace made of kelp and wolf teeth.
Two years later, the necklace was lost in a fight with magpies, but Liulfr knew he could not lose the huge scar that tore across his frame. He became an outsider in Mossflower Woods, plundering and killing. He got the mace when he killed a hare in the woodlands. Now he wanders in Mossflower Woods, searching for a place to call home.
