Occupation: Taveler and guide through mossflower
Physical Appearance: avarage build for a young red squirrel, he has a patch of fur on his tail which is white, he got it when he fell out of a tree and his tail got piecied right threw, the fur grew back but in the coulour white. he wears a red jerkin with a leather belt going around his middle
Possessions: he carries a finely crafted bow, a bottle of bees wax and a fencing sabre.
Personality: he is a wonderer, but is never bothered of how badly anyone is affected by the blood wrath. He is a seasoned warrior and knows mossflower like the back of his paw and has visited redwall many times over the seasons. He keeps to himself and when traverling with others he never speaks much and after injuring his tail he often gets pains there so bad that he can sometimes fall senseless, the pain in his tail has now gone, as time heals all wounds. He love dibbuns and will always stop what he is doing to play with them and cares about all creatures he knows, except Vermin. He is not kindhearted when i comes to dealing with Vermin, he would sooner slay them than let them live.
Strengths: He is an excerlant climber, knows mossflower very well and is a seasoned warrior.
Weaknesses: He is too caring when it comes to dibbuns and other creatures, except vermin. He is sometimes headstrong and will rush into dangerous situations without thinking. He is quite impatient.
History: he lived with his parents for most of his life until the incident with falling out of the tree. his parents couldnt cope with seeing him bent double with pain so they gave him to the tribes healer to look after and try to heal him over time. over the many seasons of trying different medicine the healer found one that would ease the pain, but had to be taken imediently when the pain started or it would have no affect.
before the healer died she showed him how to make the medicine which would ease his pain. he then spent the rest of his life with his parents until they were killed when trying to cross the river moss, they were not strong enough to make it across and were swept away by the current and Darkin never saw them again.
he was never the same after that, he was quite and kept to himself, so from that day he traveled alone through mossflower until he came to redwall abbey where he took shelter for half a season then continued his travels, after many seasons of enduring pain from his tail, it has now completely gone, Darkin can now be found at the Abbey of Redwall for his seasonly visit.
