Name: Nigel Thomas Hare
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Species: Hare
Occupation: Solider for the Long Patrol
Physical Appearance: Nigel is a jolly hare, wearing his blue army coat proudly. An admirer of the fabled Basil Stag Hare, Nigel's ambitions are to be like his aristocratic hero. Therefore, he shuns the use of weapons and trained himself to be a hind-leg fighter. His fur coat is dullish gray in color and his body is lean yet somewhat muscular due to his constant training.
Possessions
Nigel can sometimes be seen carrying a delivery bag which he likes to keep snacks in. Once in a great while in the time of war, he can be seen having a sword and scabbard hooked to his waist. It's more for show then actual use, causing surprise attacks on enemies and catching them off-guard when he suddenly hind-kicks them.
Personality:
His acts with an upper-class nobility and treats everyone with respect. He's very polite and a wonderful friend to have and a powerful alley on the battlefield. He tends to look at the bright-side of things and will make an effort to cheer anybeast up when in need.
Strengths:
His never-say-die attitude. Nigel will risk his life for a cause and not give up easily.
Weaknesses:
His chivalry can have a reverse effect causing him to get injured quite severely on the battlefield before either the enemy is killed, retreats, or he is forced away from an ally before he gets himself killed. He also can't stand being in deep water because he doesn't know how to swim.
History:
As a young dibbun, Nigel would find a stick or branch and pretend to ward off imaginary enemies. "Someday, I'm going to be in the Long Patrol." he would tell anybeast who would listen. His father Hugo was proud while his mother Emma was worried sick for her son. He often would sit attentively while his father would tell his son stories of the brave deeds the Long Patrol accomplished and mentioned a most noble Basil Stag Hare who Nigel took to admiring almost immediately. Finally seasons passed and Nigel made the trip to Salamandastron. He was welcomed most heartily and began his training. During dinner one evening the list was posted of those who had made Long Patrol and Nigel pushed his way through the crowd and was pleased he had made it. He was in Long Patrol at last!
Relationships:
Hugo is his father, a former hare from the Long Patrol retired and Emma his mother who was a cook for the Badger Lord.
Other
None at this time.
