Your character's full name: Starspray Waymeet, but most just call her Star.

Appearance: Tall and slender, Starspray is a pretty young ottermaid with hazel eyes. She has sable fur, and is strong though she looks delicate, due to her slight build. She wears a knee-length, sleeveless dress of dark blue, and a black woven belt. She wears a silver earring in her left ear. Her long, black hair is usually pulled back in a braid. She has a tattoo of a blue wave on the back of her right shoulder, but she shows it to no one.
Possesions: Starspray carries a sling, which she is adept with. She carries a small knife in her belt for cutting plants, or other odd jobs. She also has a pouch on her belt for slingstones, and another smaller one to carry a few emergency healer’s supplies.
Personality: Starspray is young, energetic, and always has a ready smile and a love for adventure. She likes to have fun, but when duty calls, she is the first to come and the last to leave. She cannot stand the sound of somebeast shouting angrily at another beast, because it reminds of her days on the Bloodwave, as does the sound of whips cracking.
Weakness/Strength: Her strengths are that she is kind, very patient, and strong in character and mind. She can be very tender at times, but also firm on her decisions, and is extremely loyal to those she calls her friends. Her weaknesses are that she has a quick temper that flares up easily, and when it does, she doesn’t think about what she is saying, and her words are often sharp. She also will have spells of depression when she will talk to nobeast.
History: Star lived with her family (mother, father, and two brothers) in a holt on the South Shores. When she was 9, searat crew of the Bloodwave attacked, and she was captured along with the rest of her holt. For three years, she was forced to work as an oarslave alongside friends and family, many of which who died, including her parents and younger brother. She became close friends with a young mousewife, who was pregnant. The mother died during the birth, but only after entrusting the tiny mousemaid to Star. Star named the baby Twinkle, and vowed to the dying mother that she would find a way to rescue Twinkle from a life a slavery. She managed to keep that promise two weeks later, when the Bloodwave struck a reef near Mossflower shore.
As the panic above deck grew, the crew ignored the oarslaves, all who were desperate to get free. With the help of her remaining brother, 14 season–old Star managed to break the rusty chain, and slip through an oar-port unnoticed, taking Twinkle with her. She swam away, looking behind her to see the Bloodwave sink into the waves for good. She swam almost all night before being found up by another otter crew. They helped her and Twinkle to shore, fed them, and gave them a place to sleep. Star stayed with the holt for nearly a year before setting out on her own again at age 15. Despite their protests, she pierced her left ear and had a tattoo of a wave put on the back of her right shoulder, arguing that it made her feel like a real otter again. Before she left, one of the old otterwives taught her healing arts, so that she could take better care of herself, Twinkle, and any other beast they met.
Star wandered about Mossflower with Twinkle for three months. Winter was coming on when she discovered Redwall, and gained a home. She did not fight in the great battle for Redwall, nearly two years later, but she helped in the infirmary, caring for the injured as best she could. It was there that she met Tanon, who had been gravely wounded in the fight. She devoted herself to taking special care of him, and they became close friends.
When the Dibbuns were captured nearly a season later, she was one of the first to volunteer for the search party. It was along the way that she and Tanon, through an odd and somewhat dangerous series of events, discovered and admitted their love for each other.
