Toriphess is tall and full of wiry muscles like steel. His grey fur and gold eyes radiate coldness. His overall feel is that of a gold and silver jewelry piece fished from the icy cold tundra waters.
He wears a long coat that is slightly open on his silver chest. The coat has cobalt the edges, and designs in maroon. The dyed black sharkskin belt around his waist holds his dagger and a pouch. A jet earring decorates both ears. Steel pauldrons decorate both shoulders, while two vambraces decorate his wrists. The right vambrace is molded to fit his arm perfectly, while the other extends to a small, diamond-like shield.
Toriphess carries himself with a certain swagger that he earned by being a feared bandit captain. He rarely smiles, and when he does, it is reminisce of a shark. He radiates authority, and no beast on his ship can stand up against him, except for the other co-captain.
Possessions
Toriphess holds a wicked, cleaver like dagger of dark grey steel on his left hip. It has a black grip, and a red garnet for a pommel. It is sheathed in black leather.
Toriphess also carries around a scythe made of a single piece of metal. It starts at the bottom in a tip, then coils around itself tightly. Two feet of the metal extend from the top to form the scythe blade.
His pouch is mud brown, and fastens with ties. It holds a rag, small bottle of polishing fluid, a spare throwing dagger, string, flint and tinder, and keys to his ship.
Personality:
Toriphess keeps to himself most of the time. When he does talk, it is to discuss raiding and battle tactict to his sister, or to command the beasts on his ship. He doesn't consider insults to be an appropriate weapon, so he never trades them. He looks at his sister with respect, but of the comradely kind. He is a kind of an enigma to those new recruits. He sometimes stays that way.
Strengths:
The otter captain is skillfull in directing a ship and tacticts of war. He prefers raids to straight out assaults, and he makes sure those under his command do so as well. He is a skillfull fighter and, as expected, swims extremely well.
Weaknesses:
He is not good at land tactics and will do anything in his power to avoid them. He is deathly scared of fire, and he isn't all that good at negotiations. He also hates to be social.
History:
Toriphess had a simple working father and loving mother. He grew up as well as anyone would expect an otter cub in his surroundings would. His sister was born, and Toriphess feared he would lose the love and respect of his parents. He took her far too near the ocean, and they were picked up by Captain Swordfang, and he sent them to the slave pens below-deck. Toriphess grew up down there for ten years. Rowing the ship aside other unfortunate sould captured by the pirate crew. Toriphess decided to renew respect for his sister when she came up with a plan to not only free them, but to command the ship.
They executed the plan, and Toriphess found himself in ownership of his scythe, and partial ownership of the ship. He sailed into the River Moss, and started his carreer of raiding.
