"Yeah, that's exactly what I do! Wander around and give my name to any vermin who asks for it! I'm not that stupid."
"Not stupid ay?" asked Greenfang, "from al' I kin see yer beggin to be killed!"
"Y'know, yer right. Might be'a'bit more stupid than tha', yeah... I can see tha'. If that's how y'feel, I suppose yew might as well g'back 'bout it, ye smart otta'."
As Estlin backed off the ferrets moved toward Arawolf, all weapons drawn. "You arr' tough northern warriors!" Greenfang said to his siblings, "dan't let y'oself get shown up by an adolescent stream-dag! Fight defensive!" Then he took a quick stab at Arawolf. Redfang and Darkfang put up their swords in defensive positions.

D'yew eva jus' keep yer mouth shut?
Arawolf smirked as she realized the wildcat was talking to her. She pressed her lips together for a short instant and replied. "Yeah. I just did. Any more incompenent questions you want to ask, cat?"
Northern beasts, eh? Neva been to far north meself. An m'name is Estlin. Estlin Armon Vinsing. the wildcat quickly interrupted Arawolf to talk to the ferrets, but Arawolf had quickly cut him off.
Y'know, yer right. Might be'a'bit more stupid than tha', yeah... I can see tha'. If that's how y'feel, I suppose yew might as well g'back 'bout it, ye smart otta'.
A split second passed, a mere heartbeat, before the river otter burst into insane laughter. "That's possibly the oldest retort in the book, kitty. How long have you been living? You're sadly out of date." she snickered with another howl of laughter before it cut off and she returned to her usual self.
Not stupid ay? From al' I kin see yer beggin to be killed!
"Then you can't see much, can you?" the otter retorted before the ferrets began advancing toward her.
You arr' tough northern warriors, dan't let y'oself get shown up by an adolescent stream-dag! Fight defensive!
"Thanks for telling me your plan, ferret." she replied as Greenfang stabbed toward her with his blade. She whirled her flamberge in an arc of steel and smashed it into the ferret's blade, sending up a shower of blue and red sparks into her face before she backed off.
"Well, do you want to go to Hellgates or what? You can't fight to save your life."

"Yeah. I just did. Any more incompenent questions you want to ask, cat?"
Estlin's ears tilted back as he crossed his arms carefully over his chest as to not cut himself on his own razored gauntlets. He was not any where near angry with this creature.... no, annoyed was a much better word. Her responses were childish at best and he wondered why he had even at first humored her with a response. It may have been more intelligent to snap the dagger from her paw, push her aside and continue on his way.
As the fight began again, the wildcat glanced over his shoulder with a short sigh. It was wasn't worth his time to oversee the fight... let alone listen to the lousy banter. Absentmindedly the ex-king picked at the dried blood that often got caught in the grooves of his gauntlets, flicking it away with a claw while the creatures went at it.
He glanced at the confrontation and cleared his throat, "Ehm, ferrets, y'know meself, I'm naw any expert on the weaponry en' all, but might I suggest... eh, les'say- short n'focus weapons t'tha front as'a dis'raction an' maybe tha longer range uns t'the back- might get a lil' less movement outta 'er, y'know?"

(Sorry Glavon, I had to listen to Estlin's advice. ;D)
Ehm, ferrets, y'know meself, I'm naw any expert on the weaponry en' all, but might I suggest... eh, les'say- short n'focus weapons t'tha front as'a dis'raction an' maybe tha longer range uns t'the back- might get a lil' less movement outta 'er, y'know?"
Darkfang nodded in silent agreement and backed away from Arawolf. He slid his blade into his belt and drew his bow. He loaded another arrow and fired at Arawolf. Greenfang took a slash at Arawolf's shoulder and Redfang swung at her feet. Both attacks were light and careful, not aimed to kill.
