Post by Ltc. Hubert Greenburrow II on Aug 10, 2008 14:50:27 GMT -5
Lieutenant Colonel Hubert Greenburrow II struggled to get up but vermin soldiers began kicking him all over his body. Eventually the young rabbit went unconscious again, his body bloodied and battered.
A hare captain saw Hugh go down and was fighting his way towards the young officer. The hare captain brought down at least eleven vermin with her rapier before rushing to Hugh. She came up on the vermin who had beaten Lieutenant Colonel Greenburrow from behind and eliminated every one before bending down and waking Hugh, trying to examine his injuries to check the severity of them.
When Hugh woke, he saw the hare's face turn grim. Hugh asked a question, though he already knew the answer. "Am I gonna make it, Captain?"
The hare captain turned away. "It doesn't look like you will, sir."
Hugh laughed, his face turning paler. "No matter. I gave the vermin the best I could give them." Lieutenant Colonel Hubert Greenburrow II chuckled one last time, then his head lolled to one side, eyes clouded over.

This was getting bad, Talia could clearly see that, and she needed to make her move sooner rather then later. She bit her lip as she turned away from Darkhawk and the mess of dead bodies he was creating. Wincing at the sudden boom of thunder she casually started to walk toward the door, smiling slightly to herself. Opening the door as little as she could, Talia squeezed through and began looking for a place to hind out, until things calmed down a little bit...Little did she know, things were just getting started and were going to get worse before getting better.

Another Magus feel to the ground dead as the Archmagus tried to run. He was old, frail and weak. He couldn't out run anyone even if he tried. He hobbled away as 'Vulpuz' killed the last of his fellow Sephrons. (Now to G-mod myself... Darky do you mind if I take Darkhawk for a moment... Dark=... why are you asking, go ahead.) However, a fraction of an foot from the door a knife struck him in the foot causing the Archmagus to fall over. He tried to crawl only to be lifted up by the omnicidal being. "M-master... Why are you doing this... We have done nothing but... But serve you... follow your words...Done as you commanded...."
"Sephron follow no race... worship no creature above them. We are pure race. We are superior to all. We fear nothing... Do you fear me."
The Archmagus glanced over to the corpse of Rosethorn and said nothing as he stared at the blood red eyes of Darkhawk. He was to frightened.
"Weakness... that is all you are... You shame the Sephron name... do not fear... I will bring about the knew age... And it will be born from Fire. Hellgates shall be paradice compared to how this would will be... Shame... You will not be apart of it."
With a simple thrashed of the 'God-king's hand, the frail, old neck of the enemy was snapped easily like a twig. The snap was sickening as the body fell limp and lifeless to the ground.
The WARR army was remaining strong together, however, the arrows penitrated threw the foes easily. When the rain came down, the heavy armor the the WARR beast wore made them slip in the forming mud.

The magus that he insulted the badgers turned to see Luna staring at him. The knife-weilder grinned before moving forward to fight Luna. "Don't kill that stripe-dog... PLEASE... ALLOW me..." hissed the magus in a pychotic manner.Luna grinned as the WARRbeasts around her stopped fighting and stepped back, leaving a small circle of space clear for her and the magus. She was unaware of the world outside this ring, unable to see those she knew dying or the fighting just beyond her. She knew that it wouldn't much matter beyond this fight. She was a deadbeast, and only had her stupidity to blame for that. Rushing in with only the wish for victory as a plan... you'd think I'd 'ave learned somethin' by now... Luna knew that if she killed the magus, the beasts around her would return that favor. She twisted her sword in a silver circle before resting the metal against her cheek. Ah well, I can at least take some of these bits of scum screaming to hellgates with me.' Her grin widened at the thought.
"Come slow one, before I die of age waiting for you and your toothpicks." Luna sneered, glancing at the knives he held in his hand. She didn't believe his smaller weapons made him any less of a threat, but she wanted him to underestimate even more than he already did. Itmight make the fight go even more quickly.
(Two weeks, that's gotta be a record. Sorry for the wait.)

((Unexpected, to say the least, Hugh.
Heh unfortunately not, Luna.))
Ashstripe reached to grab the younger Badger by the collar but failed, he was gone and off into the thick of it. And there would be hell to pay should he charge in after him and get both of them killed. He snarled to himself in sheer frustration, Self restraint, the voice of his consciousness urged him on, he simply had to restrain himself. The voice grew increasingly shrill as it was drowned out, he was starting to feel almost, light-headed. As his mind drifted away and his instincts began to grip control, from that moment, he wasn't truly there.
His vision blurred and flashed, rocks and steppes turned into plains of grass, thunder and rain morphed into light and the horde simply was not there. It was odd, he couldn't quite see a sun, but the light was there. The dream snapped quickly as he found his paws deep into the neck of a fallen creature (who he could simply not name; it's appearance was beyond interpretation.) and wrapped around what he assumed to be the handle of his blade.
The lapses of control continued, his mind and body was growing weary, but his survival instincts would have nothing to do with it; he was going to live past this battle, now was not his time. Not yet anyway. A white paw raised to his head and gripped it lightly, he couldn't really tell if it was his own or that of another and the badger shook his head briskly as the dream faded; he was above this, he was above the bloodwrath and insanity. It took real strength to witness battle with his own eyes and not of his instincts.
"Press the attack!" He roared suddenly, as if he had achieved a greater sense of clarity during his hallucination. Orders and battle plan forgotten, he charged forward, urging those by his side to follow suit as he cut down a stoat and a weasel clad in leather studded with iron. ______________
"The Lieutenant Colonel's down!" Cried an alarmed voice, to which Kenzie's ears received promptly. She swore inwardly, how could he let himself get killed! The time to shed tears for the fallen would come later, she would make the horde pay for taking the life of an officer. The small hare whirled and ducked as she swung the halberd confidently, as if it was just an extension of herself, reaching out, jabbing and cleaving the vermin like claws at the tips of her paws.
Glancing around nervously, she witnessed the Long Patrol break formation. This wasn't good, nothing that she had heard during this entire battle had been good. Presumably the order came from someone higher up than herself as she had explicitly stated that the hare's hold their position time and time again. "Bloomin' idiot." She muttered, obviously assuming the culprit to be her Lord. While it wasn't her place to question him or argue with his orders, she could still believe him to be wrong.
_______________
Breeze furrowed his brow more deeply, blinking back tears of losing another friend of his to these battles. It had been a long time since he even expressed an emotion even resembling sorrow but then again it had been a long time since someone he knew quite personally had died in his presence. "Tell 'im yerself m'boy!" He replied rather defiantly, he wouldn't listen to Jacksaw recite his dying will to him. That was ridiculous, he wasn't going to die. Not if he could help it. "Last battle fer a while y'mean! Wot wot!" He grinned weakly, as if the energy he was supposed to have expended fighting had finally been spent and the fatigue was catching up with him.

Jacksaw smiled weakly. "Ye always were a good friend..." He said. The nurse walked over and finished up the bandages. "All right... I've done all I can..." She said. Jacksaw was about to say something when the cry rent the air. Lieutenant Colonel's down! He sat bolt upright, ignoring the coarsing pain in his gut. Jacksaw cursed under his breath. "Young idiot!" Jacksaw tried to stand up and he made it to his feet, but he stumbled a bit. He leaned against Breeze just for support. He scanned the area as quickly as he could, then he saw the young rabbit warrior lying limp. He started to make his way towards the body of the Ltc.
~~~
Axe's bloodwrath came in full. He was completely angered. He was dealing out death everywhere he swung. The rain felt soothing on his body. A sword slashed against Axe's back. He turned around and saw a fox with a vicious looking sickle sword. He went to attack, but the fox sidestepped it. Now Axe went to swing to the left, hoping to hit the fox, but the fox jumped sideways, again. But this time, someone was waiting for him. Snowpaw clotheslined the fox and kicked his form. He immediately jumped back as Axe's blade came straight down at the fox. Snowpaw turned away, not wanting to see the death of the fox. Snowpaw then saw a fox with a spear. It was all bloody on top. He was mimicking a hare. "Oh lookie me! Ah'm from the highlands, I doonae want you ta kill meh, a'cause Ah'm from the highlands." Now the fox laughed. The only other highland hare Snowpaw knew of in the long patrol was Jacksaw... His father. Snowpaw dropped his sword and ran straight at the fox from the front. The fox held his spear up, but Snowpaw grabbed it, and wrenched it out the fox's grasp. He then bludgeoned the fox over the head with the butt of the spear. Snowpaw threw the spear to the side and jumped on the fox. HE started to kick it, and punch it, everything. He punched him right off in the jaw and blood started to trickle down. Then Snowpaw pulled out his dagger and stabbed the fox several times before being pulled off of it. He felt the arms of a strong beast, and immediately thought it was his father. It was Axe. His eyes were regular now. He pulled him off to the side by Ashstripe. "Watch him!" Axe growled out.
Axe resumed the attack.
"Oh... You will die..." growled the red fox with blood red eyes. His knives were at the ready, with the ceremonial look to them. He smiled as he glanced to the front of lines. "Your little badger friend's rabbits have broken line... NOW it is a manner of time before you are sent to the abyss where all inferior races belong..." Instantly the magus ran forward knives at the ready. He slashed at the Badger's ears, growling like a rabed creature.
While the fighting was going on in the main attack force Zeffer had already cleaned out the Watchpost he had been sent to. His Merrito soldiers quickly moved to the second one that was in close distance as he remained by the command area. "Zeffer, sir, th'e WARR beasts are neutralized at this post. Orders?" "Send a third of a score back to the Badger Lord. A Score shall remain her while a third comes with me to the capital... understood?" "Watâ."
(There have been worse.)
Luna ducked under the knive, watching the other blade with a wary eye as she went for an ander hand slash, the spin from her dodge adding to the force behind it. She pushed against her bloodwrath, knowing she needed a clear mind to defeat this opponent. He was using smaller weapons that would allow him quicker movements and if she attacked him with blind fury, she'd likely give him to many chances to hit something vital.
Farther away, Philip heard the command. Slicing open the stomach of his opponent, he paused, trying to think. Under normal circumstances he would be opposed to doing anything without his commander's say so. However, Luna had gone and lost herself, leaving him with no clear instructions on what to do. He glanced where she'd last been sighted, and saw nothing but more enemies. With that grim thought, he made his decision. "Come on ya' pot bellied fools, ye heard the order. Push forward, so we can get our badger back!" Philip yelled, signaling with his sword his command for those who couldn't hear. With that, the horde pushed forward, Philip leading with grim determination.
"I'm coming to." Vigil said, looking up at Zeffer with a stern expression. She had followed him, knowing that her expertise were in smaller attacks rather than a seige. It didn't really matter to her if Zeffer agreed to this or not; She would come with, one way or another.
((Lets try sum this battle up on or before we hit the Page 10 mark eh? ^^ ) "Haha!" The maddened Badger laughed loudly, his tone and voice dripping with the bloodwrath , "Ye shouldn't need to watch over an old stripe-dog like me!" He didn't really outright reject or accept Axe's little command to Snowpaw, just as he wasn't outright insane or sane. Through the bloodied and blurred vision of insanity Ashstripe could make out that his order was being carried out by all factions of the army, his smile broadened. The normally reserved Badger was almost giggling with sheer glee at the prospect of pushing the enemy back further. After all, once they were out of the pass, they could tackle the army head on. Something the badger would relish, contrary to the rest of the forces under his banner. ________________ "Easy ol' boy." Breeze quickly shoved himself under Jacksaw as a form of support as he guided his steps slowly. The rabbit was down, that's all this war needed, another leader to fall. Thankfully the figure head of their forces was still going strong; at least he hoped he was. Another volley of arrows whizzed over head and thudded into the ground and their targets, the weather was doing little to impede the wooden eagles of the sky, no matter how wet their feathers got they still managed to find a target.
Jacksaw felt some support. "Thanks... Breeze." He said. "Ah'm goin' to grab... The Ltc.'s body... Then Ah'm goin' ta... Drag 'im back here..." HE said. As he made his way towards Hugh, he soon found out that they had a body guard. Axe. He was guarding their way, so they wouldn't get hurt. Axe looked back and flashed a quick nod. Jacksaw soon made it towards the body of Hugh. Axe pushed every vermin out of the way. Jacksaw slipped out from under Breeze and grabbed Hugh's body. Then he dragged him back to Breeze. He used him as support again and headed back towards the medic site.
Snowpaw looked at Ashstripe. "Ah think he wants me to watch ye so ye doonae get yerself killed... The Ltc.'s down, we don't need our Badger Laird down, eh?" He somewhat smiled.
(Whew so i have killed my first cha, I tell you this was a hard one to write) Blood pored from Sarak's mouth as he struggled to keep his knife slashing, trying desperately to keep the horde of vermin at bay. "One at a time You BASTARDS!!!" he roared in frustration. With a quick snap of his wrist he threw his dagger burying it into the throat of a overeager rat. He ripped the last two free not caring that in the process he shredded his bandoleer and would never again be able to put them back within it. "YOU THINK I'M DONE DON'T YA!" he thundered peering out at the gang of surrounding beasts "Who will be the lucky beast to get the kill on Sarak Rakingclaw eh?" he coughed, blood running from his mouth in a river. "WELL COME AND GET IT!" Leaping into throng of vermin, his blades became the instrument of death for all within arms reach. Beasts fell around him piling up like some grim wall, till at last from loss of blood and exhaustion Sarak dropped his guard. The vermin surrounding him charged in unison impaling him with all manner of weapons grinning at their final triumph. Sarak slumped forward, his eyes closing, blood pooling at his feet. One stoat a smug grin on his face reached to take the mace off Sarak's belt, the second his paw brushed the wildcats skin his eyes flashed open, burning like twin orbs of hellfire. With a blood curdling scream of primal agony, Sarak forced himself in one last lunge down the spear of the stoat and tore out it's throat with a swipe from his bloodied paw. The other vermin fled in fear leaving their weapons piercing the Wildcat. His body standing tall even in death, in the midst of the horde, with no vermin who dared approach his stalwart corpse.
Talia continued to look for a place to hind, scared for he life. She started toward one of the now destroyed watch-posts, unaware what was going on in the thunder storm that had strangely started the same time as Darkhawk started her murder-spree.
(Because I am a lazy 'pup' I haven't posted. I appologize from the bottom of my heart. Sorry for not posting... Rosethorn is sick... He was getting sick and has now a sinus infection... So... I'm going to post for him till he feels better.)
The Magus was dragged back against the earth as he allowed Luna to push him with her spin before grinning himselfas he dropped down to get under the blade. Quickly the fox moved forward with his duel knives, keeping one in defence and the other pointed forward, ready to strike quickly at Luna the moment he saw an opening. He slashed at the Badger's throat.
Zeffer was walking quickly threw the passages that lead to the man center when the High Command would be. With his team of assassin's he was sure that they could take out these evil beast within a matter of moments. However, something caught the white fox's attention as he noticed a vixen running for her life. Instantly the white fox ran to her, his natrually taller, and stronger build made him able to get in front to try and stop her. "Who are you?" He growled assassin blade up ready to kill her in a moment if she didn't answer.
Freya stabbed another WARR Beast in the throat pushing him to the ground as she moved over the mud and ignored the gusting rain. The heavy armor of the WARR beasts were starting to work against them as they began to slip, looking balance from the heavy steel. Ike came over slashing another weasle that had charged him. "Chieftess." hissed the fox as he looked over to her. "Messangers from the Merrito Forces. They have taken the Watch Posts... WE need to pus against them!" "SHEILD LOCK!" yelled Freya as her vermin soldiers moved forward putting their sheilds together to form a make-shift wall. Freya was in the frontlines with the Vermin soldiers. "FORWARD!" she commanded as the second row pushed against the first, pushing them forward into the ranks of the right flank of the WARR army. Freya glanced to the Long Patrol, noticing that they had broke their formation in order to get into one on one fighting against enemy soldiers. The Azurrian on the left flank were pushed to far upward and were now getting overwelmed. The Archers in back seemed to be doing well, their star material arrows peircing threw the armor of the WARR Beasts. Then, there was a loud bang coming from the distance making the enemy pause for a moment. The soldiers on the other side continued fighting ignoring the bangs. The bangs meant for the WARR Beasts to return back to the Inner Fortress.
The Magus heard the understood order. "KEEP FIGHTING!" he commanded as his soldiers seemed to be confused as they stopped fighting only to be killed by the woodlanders when they did.
Darkhawk was banging the bells trying to get someone to come as he walked about the empty halls of the High Command room in the Spire. Blood and flames were all over the floor as he knocked down oil flames onto the ground, annoyed and angry about the weakness and easyness of killing full blooded Sephrons. He walked slowly up the stone steps, his father's sword in hand as he wore the armor of a Sephron. I am Vulpuz... The purger of weakness... The Great Destroyer. Those who bow before me in fear shall die... those who bow to me shall burn... The ultamite pure entity in this world is anniallation... All will die in order to bring a perfect age where nothing will exist... everything will be the same... perfect unity... For nothing will need to be united. [/i][/size]
((At the rate we're going, killing off my characters seems like a less and less feasible prospect; a nice dramatic death that is.
=O...Well I hope Rosethorn gets better soon.))
The laughter died down into a deep rumble that somewhat resembled a chuckle came from the Badger, his arms were near limp and he felt his whole body shake with the oddly-founded joy. Ashstripe certainly was becoming something of his former self, the once proud and rugged Badger was very rapidly transforming into a raving madman with little regard for his own life or that of others. "Oh aye, we can't be havin' that!" He cried out erratically, giving a clear view to his teeth as if he were planning to bite the enemy; given his current state, that wasn't exactly an unlikely result.
He strode forward, as if he could be the sole rock against the endless swirling tides of vermin, step by step, he painstakingly gained ground. The rate of his swings grew less and less frequent as the signs of fatigue claimed their hold over him, the attacks could be described as sluggish at best and pitiful at worst.
But the efforts of the maddened Badger bore fruit, the order for the retreat was given and the order to continue was placed alongside with it. Like being torn at two ends by rope, the WARR horde was getting cut down and dispersed. This pleasant outcome was greeted with open arms on Ashstripe's part, he roared loudly, as much as his lungs could possibly handle. Arms outstretched, weapon held high and head tilted back he uttered the cry of Salamandastron triumphantly. "Eulllllllllllliiiiiiiiaaaaaaaa!" His cry was echoed with raised weapons and cries from the Long Patrol, victory was drawing ever so closer. There was light at the end of the tunnel after all.
___________________
Breeze gritted his teeth, he had taken an odd slash and graze on their exodus towards Hugh's body and it may have been for nought. No...He couldn't think of it in that way, even if the good Lieutenant Colonel had fallen, for good, they would be able to give him a truly deserving burial.
"Jolly good show ol'stripe-thing wot?" The hare almost mumbled through clenched teeth, he simply couldn't muster the effort to see the light of this situation; a philosophy that he had taken to heart and followed for his entire life. But Breeze had seen death before, he had seen life be created and taken, he knew in a few seasons he would be back to his high spirits; but until then, he simply didn't know what to think.
Jacksaw gripped the Ltc's body as he dragged his body over to the medical area. Jacksaw ordered the doctor/nurse to keep guard over the body. He tossed her his long dagger. The nurse nodded. Jacksaw walked over to Breeze. He looked past him at battle. He hugged Breeze.
"Ah'm going tae miss ye.... Friend." He released the hug and smiled. "If Ah live... Bring meh back to yon mountain." Jacksaw said. He unsheathed his sabre and ran towards the melee. The battle cry of salamandastron ripping from his throat. "Eulaaalllllllllliiiiiaaaaaa!" He roared. He charged into the middle of battle laughing insanely. He wanted them to know that he wasn't afraid to die. "Ach, ye'll all suffer the wrath of the highland hare! Eulaaallllliiiiiiaaaaa!" He laughed like a maniac. He saw to young recruits being overwhelmed. He rushed over to their aid. He told them to stay behind him. He hacked and slashed, killing everywhere. Then it was all a blur. An Arrow had taken him through the chest. That fiery pain of the spear wound returned. He fell down on one knee. He stared up to see a ferret with another arrow notched to the bow. Jacksaw stood up and started fighting again. He turned around to see the recruits disheartened that their hero was being killed.
"Go! Run!" The recruits stood there in horror. Jacksaw turned again and another arrow took him in the chest. He fell down on both knees. His weapon fell to the ground. HE stared up and saw the ferret. The ferret shook his head. He fired. The arrow thudded into Jacksaw's body. Blood was streaming down his abdomen. The ferret, seeing Jacksaw still alive, notched another arrow. He aimed.
"Ye shouldn't 'ave been a brave rabbit." The ferret said. Jacksaw laughed in his face. The ferret pulled back on the bow. Then a white mass came out of nowhere and knocked into the ferret. Axe. He had his massive battle axe out and he swung in one motion. The body of the ferret fell to the ground. The head of it next to his body. A look of horror on hsi face. Axe dropped his battle axe. He walked over to where Jacksaw lay on the ground.
"It's goin' to be alright. Jacksaw hold on." Jacksaw smiled weakly. "My time has come..." Jacksaw said. "Tell mah son.... Ah love 'im. Tell Breeze... He was a good friend... And lastly... Tell Laird Ashtripe... It was... a pleaseure serving him..." Jacksaw threw his last salute. His form went limp. His eyes clouded over. Axe's eyes welled up with tears.
His first friend here died. "Jacksaw... No!" Axe said. Tears streaming down his face. "Jacksaw died a death he wanted." a voice said from behind. It was Snowpaw. Jacksaw's face had a smile. Snowpaw walked over and hugged his father close. Axe picked up Jacksaw's body and walked over to the doctor's area. He lay him on a bed. Axe cried for the first time in his life. He walked over to Breeze. "Jacksaw said.... He missed you..." Axe said. He wiped tears away. NExt Axe walked over to Ashstripe. "Jacksaw... Died... He said it was a pleasure serving you..." Axe said. Axe walked back and picked up his battle axe. He went into the bloodwrath. He was angry and sad at the same time. Snowpaw followed Axe and fought with him. They were both fighting to avenge their fallen friend, comrade, and family member. Jacksaw lay on te bed with a smile on his face. He died fighting for what he loved the most: Salamandastron.
Luna sidestepped, raising her sword in a circular path to block the first blade, and perhaps the second if he aimed for her stomach. "Why don't you give it up... an' die with some dignity?" She questioned, planning an upper cut the moment her blocking move was complete. She continued to watch his knives, hating the fact for once she was the slower opponent. She felt each motion was overly exposed, and hard pressed to be more agressve with her attacks. An' I've got chainmail on for cryin' out loud, she thought bitterly to herself.
((Luna, you've got another potential recruit if you already haven't been informed - link-)) Ashstripe's cry of victory was short lived, he nearly choked when Axe's voice came out of no where, penetrating his ears into the throes of his madness. Jacksaw...Dead... The words echoed in his mind, was he in error? Did he hear Axe correctly? No. He had lost another officer! The Badger's eyes flared, he barely even acknowledged Axe or gave him a reply, though he had heard his message clearly enough. "It was an honour being served by yer." He muttered as if Jacksaw was right in front of him. His mouth opened once more, his chest heaved, Ashstripe roared once more - in defiance of the horde, in defiance of the events that had transpired here today. With what began as a huge effort, slowly he raised his sword as the signal to push further. Now was not the time to celebrate, these vermin had the blood of their brethren on their paws. _____________ Breeze was at a loss, the jovial Captain could barely smile, let alone grin. Another comrade, fallen to the cycle of wars that endlessly bombarded Salamandastron and Mossflower. Another victim of the endless hatred of these...hordes. He grabbed his weapon without thinking any further, thinking only served to dampen his spirits and for Breeze that was contradictory to his life goals; after all, if he was miserable everyone else must be verging on the edge of depression.
(Heya... I am sort of better.)
Some WARR Beasts ran, knowing that the Order that was being called could be from the High Council itself. Perhaps the enemy had managed to bet into the Fortress. About half began to run back as the Magus and those closer to him remained, fighting against the combined alliance that was against him. "Dancing? Heha! STAND and FIGHT!" the Magus yelled as he slashed with his sharpened blades at the badger's throat with one, the other aimed for her gut.
'Retchen impassively watched the fight...he was too busy trying to turn some of the less competent bowbeasts into archers worthy of the name. One was nursing his wrist-a new recruit to the cause, he'd forgotten his wristband and his bowstring had slapped his wrist every shot. "Ah, stop yer moanin'," 'Retchen yelled. "Now get up, an' keep shootin' arrers!" "But me wri-" "If yew don't start shootin' NOW, you'll have a lot more painful injuries then yore wrist! Now SHOOT!" The rat grumbled, and fired another haphazard shot. The tough-talking merc was not in any actual position of command, but he was dangerous enough that it was prudent to treat him like he was. 'Retchen looked over the battlefield. There seemed to be a wall of vermin and hares in the middle of the battle, but casualties were high on every side. Something then caught his eye...there was a duel in the middle of the battlefield...between some WARR figure of authority and his warlord, a badger, who for some reason entirely beyond 'Retchen had decided to recruit an army of badbeasts. The archer grabbed his arrows, hopped down from his point of elevation and moved forward, closer to the battle...he'd do more good closer up then trying to teach some inept 'archers' how to shoot straight.
He found a suitable, closer vantage point, and started firing from there, where he could shoot AND get a good view of the fight.
(Is it just me, or is it getting harder to RP all characters?)
Snowpaw started to weep, despite his actions before, he couldn't hold it in anymore. He had traveled over to the tent where his father's body was and hugged his father's body close, never wanting to let go. "You were a great father." He said in between sobs. "Ah'm going ta miss you." Snowpaw cried even more, tears falling like the stream of a waterfall. Snowpaw hugged his dad one last time then walked back out into the battle.
Axe wasn't himself anymore. He was the part of himself that contained all the anger, just like it all shot out and took over his body. Axe's eyes were as red as a cherry, his pupils small, and the white part was all consumed by red. He swung his axe and cleaved a rat in two, then moved on to his next victim. He was about to kill some new beast when something caught his eye; an archer teaching other archers how to shoot. Odd. Then the archer moved closer to the battle between the Badger Lady whom he did not know, and some figure from WARR. Probably a warlord, or some other high ranking beast. Axe ignored the beast he was about to kill and walked over to the archer and growled, "I don't think that's your fight."
(Man, my posts are getting worse and worse. I may leave the thread soon-ish. I dont know what else to post. *shrugs*)
