(Seems about time we had something like this put up, sorry I didn't get to it sooner but it just started to snow where I am ) Blinking slightly as the morning sun broke through his window William slowly rolled over, mumbling something about more sleep. But just as he closed his eyes a wild hammering was at his door, followed by the excited screaming of dibbuns. "Snow! Snow! Its snowing!" Immediately William was out of bed and rushing to the window. Throwing open the thin curtains he smiled wildly at the fresh white color of the lawns and buildings. Quickly changing into warmer clothes and throwing on a scarf he ran down to the grounds and burst through the door. Its true that he was acting a bit childish, but who didn't love snow? Breathing in the cool air deeply Will smiled and ran off toward the lower rooms of the gatehouse. Rummaging through numerous bits and pieces he soon found the sleds. Smiling again he started to get them out and set them outside the gatehouse. Now all he had to do was wait for every other beast to wake up, and the fun could begin. He though with a snicker as he started to form snowballs.

(just checkin)
Violet woke up. She shivered, why was it cold. She stumbled to the window "SNOW!!" she squealed. She shoved on her hat and mittens, grabbed her sled and ran down to breakfast.
"Who is going to play in the snow with me??"

Springheel Jakk had been staying at Redwall for a short time before he set out in Mossflower again. The kind beasts here had offered him a room to stay in, and he was only too happy to oblige. The young fox slid out of his bed, looked out the window, and to his delight, he saw snow. Springheel let a smile coarse across his features, and he pulled on his fur shirt and shoes, for he slept in his pants, and headed out to the grounds. As he was walking out the door, he just realized something and ran back to the window. William. The mouse champion was out there... building snowballs.
Now was the fox's chance. He let a slight chuckle escape his quivering form, and lightly ran on his tiptoes to the grounds outside.
He opened the door slowly, peering left and right, making sure he wasn't spotted. With a quick nod, Springheel closed the door without a sound but the faintest squeek from its old hinges and was on his way. HE crept up so he was about 10 feet behind William, formed a snowball, and shouted, "Oi! William!" Then threw the snowball, zeroing in on the warrior's back.

"Watch out William!" Screamed the young mousemaid as she Springheel throw the snow ball. Then she succumbed to helpless giggles. She ran behind a tree in the orchard to start as her fort and she started making snow balls.
"SNOWBALL FIGHT" she roared and lobbed snowballs left and right. The dibbuns ran to hide and cheered.

Ambrr had been up since dawn, enjoying an early breakfast on the ramparts. She enjoyed the snow that covered everything with a thick blanket. She finished her breakfast just as a gaggle of dibbuns and one very childish abbey champion burst out the door to the abbey, followed by a mouse and a fox.
Ambrr smiled and waved as she descended the steps, ducking as a stray snowball flew her way. She straightened up, opening her mouth to say something along the lines of 'Ha ha, missed me!' but was interrupted mid-open mouth when a snowball exploded in her face.
Spluttering, the squirrel wiped her face and squatted again, forming a snow ball. Taking careful aim, she tossed it with swift accuracy at William.

Smiling and laughing as his second missile hit its mark Will only had time to say; "Got you Ambrr!" Before a warning reached his ears. Turning around he only saw white as the foxes snowball hit him right on the nose. Quickly wiping the snow off his face he formed a snowball and prepared to throw it at the fox.
But just as he cocked his arm back to throw Ambrr's throw hit him right in the back of the head. Laughing a bit more he shook his head quickly as he formed two and stood so he could partly see both of them. "Come on then you two, have at ye!" He said with a smile as snow hung from his whiskers.
But he caught sight of the creature that had tried to warn him, a young mouse. Smiling at her he motioned her over with a snowball. "Come on, I'm gona need some help to fight off these two."
(I'll bring in Slitty and his gang in a bit once we get the fight going.)

"Come on, I'm gona need some help to fight off these two."
Violet sprinted over as William motioned her over.
"Here for reinforcements!"
She stooped down to scrape together the mush. She flung the ball of mush on a path straight at Ambrr's head. She then knelt in the snow to make a fort from the vicious onslaught of much balls!
